Chapter 13: Do You Have A Girl friend?

The man sat down with his back straight.

Fu Yanzhi appeared to be a thin type, at least outwardly, but Ji Qingying could tell that he had muscles and should have a very well-trained body.

Designers were known for having eyes that could see through clothes to see their figure and so was she.

With just that brief moment, it was obvious that the man's leg muscles were taut and strong and that he definitely exercised a lot.

Their legs were so tightly pressed together that Ji Qingying could feel the temperature of his body through his clothes.

She stiffened, her ears flushed with a tinge of red.

She licked her lips and dropped her eyes to take a sip of the water placed next to her.

Because it happened by accident, Ji Qingying did not deliberately move away.

She was not used to it, but it seemed to be okay.

Her eyes were fluttering, bewildered and feeling somewhat guilty.

It wasn't like Fu Yanzhi hadn't noticed the small movements of the person next to her.

He looked over his shoulder and what caught his eye was the delicate side of her face.

Ji Qingying's facial features were beautifully sculpted as she looked both lovely and gentle. Her eyes weren't too big or too small and when she lowered her eyes, her eyelashes were curled attractively.

Someone pushed the door in, wrapped in the night air blowing through outside and the scent of the people next to them burrowed into their noses.

Fu Yanzhi took back his sight and didn't move.

After a while, the waiter brought over the porridge the two ordered.

Fu Yanzhi got up to get the chopsticks over and when he sat down again, he was slightly separated from Ji Qingying by a slight distance.

Ji Qingying didn't feel much, for she was becoming a bit hungry.

She hadn't eaten in the evening either and had intended to see the house before going to eat, but Chen Xinyu had run off first and she didn't have much of an appetite on her own after that.

The two of them didn't know when the opposite people left and by the time Ji Qingying finished eating, Fu Yanzhi was already checking his phone.

The light from the shop hit his face and made his face a little gentler.

"Done?"

Ji Qingying nodded. "Well, are you still going back to the hospital?"

Fu Yanzhi assented and paid the bill before walking out.

The two were walking slowly. When they were almost at the entrance of the hospital, he suddenly said, "I'm sorry."

Ji Qingying was stunned.

Fu Yanzhi explained, "That was my colleague just now."

Ji Qingying nodded, "I figured as much."

She smiled. "I don't really mind it."

Fu Yanzhi acknowledged with a nod, "I'll have him transfer the money to you."

The smile on Ji Qingying's face stiffened and she was suddenly unable to speak.

She's no fool.

She knew what Fu Yanzhi meant by that.

"No, it's fine."

Ji Qingying took a deep breath and said in a light tone, "Just treat me in return."

Fu Yanzhi made a "mmm" sound and said softly, "I'll go back first."

Ji Qingying pursed her lips and looked at his back. "Dr. Fu, let me ask you a question."

Fu Yanzhi stopped and looked back at her.

"You don't have a girlfriend or someone you like, do you?"
