Cut Throat

Luna's POV

"Hey Flare, don't forget to put the cooler near the trampoline, everyone will be here soon!"

 Luna called down the hall to the kitchen from where she was, gathering sleeping bags and pillows to take out to where they would be sleeping that night.

It was the first day of Spring Break and Luna and her friends had planned to spend all of Spring Break in her backyard drinking and having a good time.

 " I will don't worry! I'll come to help you bring out the sleeping bags and pillows when I'm done." Flare responded, grabbing the cooler and heading out the back door. 

As the door slid shut, Luna grabbed her phone from the table beside her and opened Bonfire, selecting the group chat she had with Bella, Vee, Sparrow, Thorn, and Eagle. 

6:47 pm Luna: Hey guys! Can't wait to see you all soon, Flare and I are just putting the last few things outside now, the fire is ready to be lit and the food and drinks, yes, we got the good stuff, is outside now just grabbing the sleeping bags and pillows and we will be all set!

6:48 pm Vee: Sounds great! Thorn and I are on our way now, should be there in about 15 minutes.

6:49 pm Bella: Same here! I'm picking up Sparrow and Eagle on my way over, they should be waiting at the end of their driveways now- see you in a few!

6:50 pm Luna: Ok sounds good. See you then!

And with that, Luna put her phone back on the table and paired sleeping bags with pillows as Flare came into the room to help bring everything out to the backyard. Grabbing half of the piles, Luna followed Flare out of the room and out to the trampoline. 

As she and Flare set out the last sleeping bag, Luna heard a voice on the other side of the fence across the yard.

 "Hey! Come open the door, we're all waiting with all our stuff at the side door."

 Luna recognized that voice, it was Vee.

 "Coming!"

 She hollered back at her friend, leaving Flare to finish putting the now spread out sleeping bags where each person would be sleeping. 

"Hey, bring everything out to the backyard, that's where we're sleeping tonight!"

 Luna said to her friends as she opened the door and lead the way through the house and out into the yard where Flare was waiting.

"Hi, guys! The usual spots for all of you, right?"

 Asked Flare, taking everyone's bags and putting them on the edge of the trampoline.

 "You know it!" Vee said, as she took Thorn's phone from him and tossed it at Flare. "And take that too, or Thorn will be glued to it all night!"

 At that everyone laughed and Thorn just rolled his eyes in amusement. "Hey- I'm not THAT bad with being on my phone!" He argued but even he laughed at that.
