"NOOO" you screamed in horror.
Aizawas POV:
"Today was exhausting" he thought to him self
"I can't wait to make it home and get some sleep. Wait, crap, I have papers to grade."
He leaves his car after finally arriving home.
He opens the door and smells the scented candles y/n lot for her bath.
"I swear she has an unhealthy obsession with bubble baths"
He gets reader to open his laptop to get his work over with when he hears a blood curdling scream coming from your room.
"What the hell-"
Aizawa dashes up the stairs worried as to why you would need to scream like that
Then he remembers.
"It's been a good two years since she's screamed like that....why now"?
"Y/N"! What's going on?
He gets ready to kick open your door and already has his quirk ready to fight.
Till he hears sobbing.
Y/n POV:
You woke up drenched in sweat.
Your eyes filled with tears and you hands trembling like crazy.
"It was just a nightmare..."
"But it felt too real"
your eyes were burning getting ready to cry. A lump was building up in your throat and you let the tears fall from you eyes.
Aizawa gently opens the door and walks in.
"Hey. Was it another nightmare"?
You sniffle and wipe your tears trying to stop the tears from running *hiccup* "yeah..."
"Do you want to talk about it"? Aizawa asks extremely worried but still sounded super tired
You didn't want to bugg him, but you knew you had no choice
"I had a dream that I was back there and this time they said they wouldn't let me leave and and"
Before you could finish you were crying uncontrollably.
Aizawa was in pieces seeing you in this state.
"Y/n. I promise you, no matter what, I'll always protect you, after all that's what being a pro means".
He hugs you and whispers "i promise they will never take you away"
You never really liked to admit it or dare say it out loud, Aizawa was like the father you never have.
"Maybe one day I'll have the guts to tell him how much he means to me" you thought to your self
"Thank you Aizawa, sorry if I interrupted your work"
"No need to apologize, just try not to get in between me and my sleep. Goodnight y/n" Aizawa said
"Nigghttt" you replied
You were bored.
"Crap I didn't ask Mina for her number" you said out loud
You pulled out your phone and started playing some games to kill time.
Soon enough you were fast asleep.
