A/N: I will be working on the Hanahaki one I promise, I just impulse wrote this and didn't feel like making an entirely new book for it. This also was written while I was listening to Deliver Us ( Caleb Hyles Cover ) so I made a couple references to the song.

======================

The words echoed in the blonde's head, louder than anything he'd ever heard, and he had sat through explosions.

" You will jump on these merry little bandwagons of destruction. It's not- it's not okay. And it- it- you definitely do not have the best interest for this nation. "

Was he right? Was what he had said true? Was that the reason he'd exiled him. Tommy lowered his head into his hands with a miserable groan.

" Dream, please detain and escort Tommy out of my country. "

The iciness in his voice had caught Tommy off guard. He'd never felt so unhappy before. He had Logstedshire and Wilbur sometimes came to visit. Dream was his friend too! Shouldn't that be enough?

But it wasn't. Because deep down, Tommy knew and told himself they didn't care. They just pitied him. They felt bad for him so they babied him. Maybe Dream wasn't too bad. He exploded all of Tommy's stuff. So Tommy just stopped making more.

He'd lost all hope. Every day he sat quietly. Wishing, praying that Tubbo would stop by for a visit, even if it was just to yell at him. Anything to see the best friend he had depended so heavily on.

He couldn't do this anymore.

He quickly wrote a note, it was ominous and simple.

" I can't do this anymore. Tell Dream he was great company and someone give Tubbo a hug for me. Even after he exiled me I still considered him a great friend. You can find me in the nether

- Tommy "

He abruptly got to his feet and glanced down at his compass. " Your Tubbo " it read. Ghostbur had given it to him. He clutched it tightly and put it around his neck, it sat on his chest. The cold material felt nice.

He walked to the portal he'd gotten familiar with. He'd spend hours each day, sitting beside it in the uncomfortably hot nether just to think. He placed a hand through the swirling purple, feeling numb as it disappeared before stepping in entirely.

He emerged on the other side, already beginning to sweat from the unbearable temperatures, yet the nether was like a home to Tommy.

He walked out to the narrow bridge and watched the swirling lava. He took a dangerous step forward, glancing down at the compass again.

" This stays with me. " He decided under his breath.

Another dangerous, miniscule step forwards.

He stared down at the bubbling lava, enraptured by it's gentle movements. It gleamed brightly, heat wafting off of it. Such a curious substance, yet so dangerous. Anything that touched it would never be seen again. Well, that's if you didn't count striders. It was just what Tommy needed to escape.

" Tommy don't you dare. " He heard Dream yell, he looked over in a rush of panic, seeing Dream sprinting at him.

He tensed and threw himself at the lava, watching Dream scrabble to reach for him. " See you on the flip side! " He yelled before hitting the lava. Deliver us to the promised land.
