Chapter 7

Unexpected

Last Chapter: "Happy I spoke? Huh! Happy! Fuck you!" The wolf turned away about to walk off.

"Wait. Show us your human form. You've already spoken."

"Why? So you can hurt me? Kill me?"
"No, you're a child. We can help you."

...

"Fine"

I knew I shouldn't have accepted but where was I going to go instead.

I looked back at them and transformed. My long onyx hair resting at my upper thigh and my clothes torn, my legs and arms covered with dried blood and a cut lay across my nose. I still wore the Uchiha necklace my mother had given to me, my clothes small since I couldn't change. I wore a shit that stoped mid stomach with the clan's symbol on the back and a skirt that stopped at the top of my thighs, the once long skirt had become really revealing. I looked down. "There" Everyone stood silent and shocked. "Can you turn around for us?" I knew exactly what they wanted to see, so I turned and moved my hair out of the way showing the symbol will little tears scattered all over.

"You're... You're a-

"An Uchiha get over it," I said turning back around, 

"How did you survive?"

"I barely did, I trusted the wrong person. I was taken to his group or whatever and then beat me. I ran away two years ago and lived with the wolves just till two days ago where they were all poisoned." My head hung low as I quickly told them of my life.

"who did you trust?" An old man stepped forward as if presenting his question,

"If you really need to know it was Itachi Uchiha. I left with him., It was stupid." I didn't take my eyes off the floor. It was stupid of me, I should have just stayed... he killed my parents and I still left with him. 

"And why did he not kill you?" Sasuke replicated the old man's actions. I looked back up at him, "We knew each other quite well, he was the only Uchiha I really knew besides my parents."

"How about we finish this conversation inside my office?" The Hokage suggested, I stood there confused. ' Why would they let me in after this?' Even after my doubt I couldn't help but follow, I was finally returning to the village I once lived in.

I followed them through the gate but somewhere on the way I ended up in the middle of the group, it was an awkward feeling, surrounding me.

***Time skipppppp***

"Can I have your name Child?" The Hokage asked behind a desk.  There were a lot fewer people around me now. Kakashi, Sasuke, and the Hokage and that was it.

"Shurui Uchiha." "Aah, you're the child whose body was never found." I just stood there no knowing how to respond. "And how old are you?" "I should be 12" 

"What do you mean should be?" Sasuke asked,

"Well I've been locked up for a while and the only way I could tell if a year had passed was the temperature that came with each season. So adding them all together I should be 12 I was 8 when I left with him and it's been two years with the wolves and 8 seasons with the group, so it adds up." I spoke bluntly as I was making sense of it myself, everyone in the room just stared at me. It was an uncomfortable feeling but I wasn't going to show that.

"Well I'll give you a home in the village and since you are a ninja, I'll allow you to join Kakashi's team if you show growth."

I looked at him in surprise, was he really about to let me in?

"You will have to take the genin exam, would you like to do that now?" I stood there confused but agreed anyway.

"I would like you to make clones." I looked at him while performing the hand signs for the justu. The room was suddenly filled with clones.

"You didn't specify how many were needed," I stated, only to receive a chuckle back.

"Well child, you passed with flying colours. I'll give you a headband and I'll give Kakashi money to go out and buy your clothes and food." I looked back at the mentioned man as he nodded to the Hokage, he gave me my headband and  I bowed.

"Thank you, Lord Hokage."That was all I said before leaving. I saw Kakashi leave but Sasuke was still in the room.

"Well Kiddo, what are you waiting for let's go get you some clothes. Oh, and here, It's your house key." He handed me a silver-coloured key, I just held it in my hands and nodded.

Kakashi then took me to my house which was pretty cute, small and cosy. He put down the bags of food and I put down the bags of clothes. "I hope you had fun, I'll see you tomorrow at the training ground I showed you before we went shopping." He said with a closed-eyed smile. Before he left I called out to him, "Thank you Kakashi-sensei." He looked back and smiled before I closed the door.

I started putting back all of the food we brought and then took the other bags upstairs. I found that there were two rooms, both furnished beautifully. I knew which one was mine because there was this cute long mirror in one of the rooms. I placed all the bags on my new bed and opened the closet. It took a while but I finally had all of my clothes inside. I then walked out of my room and into the bathroom. It was pretty big there was a glass shower and a bath in its own little room, next to it.  I started to take out the things I bought like hairbrushes, towels, soaps, toothbrushes and toothpaste. I put shower gels, shampoos and conditioners all in the shower. I then ran into my room grabbed a PJ set and went back into the bathroom. I left my clothes on the countertop of the sink and started the shower.

It was really unexpected for all of this to turn out so good. From living with wolves to taking a shower. It really did turn out better than I expected.
