Lola turned to face the woman. She had been staring at her. Her lips curled up to a small smile when she kneel to greet her.

"E ka son ma. (Good afternoon ma)." She greeted the woman, politely.

She was a pretty woman. She looks to be in her late sixties or early seventies. She looked just like her daughter. Mrs Jolaoluwa must have taken her resemblance from her mother. She was an older version of Mrs Jolaoluwa. She was more light-skinned than her daughter and she don't have many wrinkles.

She was in a fitted onions colour skirt and blouse lace. And she was in light makeup with expensive jewellery on her ears, neck and wrists. She can tell she will love to dress. A fashionista. Demilade was right. His grandmother is totally different from his mother.

"Tiwalola, it's nice to meet you at last." The woman said with a broad smile. "Stand up. Stand up." She urged her to stand pulling her up gently.

"Thank you ma. It's good to meet you too ma. Demilade talk about you." She smiled.

"Oh, I'm really touched! My grandson talked about me." The woman said dramatically touching her chest and Lola can't help but smile.

"Grams, what do you mean?" Demilade asked feigning hurt.

"You. You that I know very well." She said to her grandson, then she turned her attention back to Lola. "Pele omo mi. I'm so glad to finally meet you. We have been waiting for ages for the day Demmy will have the sense to introduce his girlfriend."

Lola looked at Demilade directions. He was rubbing the back of his head like a teenager. He looked quite nervous and embarrassed.

He was actually cute looking embarrassed. She thought and she smile. She suddenly realized what she was thinking and she looked away.

Later that night after they had had dinner and discussed for a while, the older women leave for their room to rest after the day's event. Lola said goodnight to the women and she left the living room shortly after Mrs Jolaoluwa and her mother left the living room.

Demilade went after Lola who was tapping on her phone as she climbed up the stairs probably checking something on her phone.

"Lola." He called. She stopped on her track and she turned around to face him.

"Yes." She was facing him but she was trying to avoid his eyes. Demilade noticed she had been doing that since what happened in the kitchen. She won't even look at him when he is talking about her to his grandmother and mother.

He moved closer to her. He hate the way she was acting. That wasn't what he was expecting from her. But she had been so awkward since the kiss.

He can't deny he liked what happened and he didn't regret it.
But they still had to talk about it. His heart does take a leap whenever he looked at her after the kiss. He can't believe he can feel that way towards her. Towards anyone.

"We need to talk." He was finally able to say.

"What do we have to talk about?" Lola asked looking at him briefly.

"What... What happened... The kiss. We need to talk about it. It..."

"There is nothing to talk about Demilade. It was... It was something that should have never happened. We made a deal. And in that deal, there are rules that we should have followed. And physical contact wasn't part of the deal. It shouldn't have happened. It was a mistake. So let's... Let's pretend it never happened." Lola said with a flat tone. She tried to hide any emotion from her voice.
