"BRUCE LISTEN TO ME!" I screamed and his head fell slightly. "Please, this isn't you. I'm sorry I was gone so long, I'm sorry I let you think I was dead. Do you really think I didn't miss you every fucking day?! Why do you think Jack and I went through so much trouble so I could come see you again?"
"You can't just say sorry and think that makes up for all of this...." he sighed walking over to the sofa. "Fuck y/n you had his kids." He rubbed his face with his hands and he let out a scream. "How could you do that? How could you let that happen?"
I took a deep breath and managed to sit next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder. "Because I love him Bruce. People do crazy things for love sometimes."
We sat in a comfortable silence for a while before I continued. "We didn't plan on having kids ya know, it just sorta.... happened. I thought he was going to leave me if he found out, so when I knew I was pregnant I was gonna leave. I was gonna get out of Gotham and raise them on my own." I sighed again. "But he wanted me to stay, he was excited to have kids Bruce. And we didn't know it was twins till I gave birth. But we're happy Bruce."
"How could a monster like that ever love?" He asked in an almost defeated voice.
"I don't know to be honest. But he does, he cares about me and the twins more than anything, if our safety meant never being the Joker again I know he'd do it. He's a good man Bruce, just.... different."
We sat in silence again.
"I want to meet them." He spoke up.
"What?" I asked shocked.
"I want to meet the Joker and your kids. This all ends tomorrow. No more Joker, no more Batman, no more Fallen Angel. I want to meet him."
I was shocked.
"Bring him here tomorrow at noon and we'll talk."
I nodded. "Civil discussion only. If you hurt him Bruce I swear...."
He cut me off. "I'm not going to hurt him." He snapped.

"Jack?" I called through the apartment.
"Y/n?" He came out of the boy's room. "You're uh, back already?"
His face was clean, and stood wearing simple sweats and a T-shirt.
"Yeah." I sighed. "We need to talk."
We sat down on the couch and I grabbed his hands, rubbing circles on his own with my thumbs.
"What's wrong?"
"Bruce knows who I am." I admitted. "And he's Batman."
He seemed shocked. "What?"
"Batm-Bruce, grabbed the locket you gave me when I fell off the building earlier, and he figured it out from there." I took a deep breath and looked deep into his hazel eyes. "He wants to meet you."
"This has to be some sort of trap y/n there's no way he just wants to Uh, talk."
"I know what it looks like. And I know that seems like something Batman would do, but not Bruce. He wants it all to end. He wants there to be an end to all three of us. No more Joker, no more Fallen Angel, no more Batman. It ends tomorrow."
He ran a hand through his still slightly damp hair. "That would mean Bruce and Alfred are safer. It could be nice knowing they aren't in danger." He paused for a moment. "Just a talk?"
"Just a talk. He promised he wouldn't hurt you."

Jack and I both leaned over the two car seats in the back strapping in the boys, and I couldn't help but laugh at the trouble he was having strapping Alfred in.
"The seatbelt goes through the loop on his left babe." I chuckled and he shot me a slightly dirty look.
"I would have figured it out eventually."
Time skip
I stopped the car in my old parking spot, now that I thought about it, Bruce had always been so particular about parking probably because of the Batmobile, if he needed to get in or out quickly it just made it easier.
Jack grabbed Bruce from the back and I grabbed Alfred, making sure I could still hold his hand as we walked up to the house.
Jack had decided to wear a simple white button up shirt, and had his dark green hair slightly slicked back from the moisture left over from his morning shower.
I only let go of his hand to knock on the door.
Alfred was very well behaved, it almost seemed as if he had no idea who Jack was.
"Good afternoon." He nodded his head and extended his hand to shake Jacks as he closed the door. "I'm Alfred Pennyworth, it's nice to meet you."
"You as well." Jack spoke in his raspy voice, clearly uncomfortable with such formality's.
"Alfred." I spoke up. "This is Bruce." I gestured you the boy in Jacks arms. "And this is Alfred."
His eyes widened. "Master Bruce has told me if your children but didn't mention their names." He sounded almost shocked.
"Bruce was Jacks idea, and when we figured out it was twins it was my idea to go with Alfred." I smiled lightly.
"Well." Alfred straightened his shirt. "Bruce is in the study."
"I can get us there, thank you Alfred." With one last smile I led Jack through the house. I was impressed with his composure, I knew he was uncomfortable. The idea of meeting my family was something he'd never considered, and the fact that my older brother was also Batman was definitely not something either of us had took into consideration.
I knocked on the door. "Come in." Was all we heard so I pushed open the door slightly.
He seemed calmer than the day before. I was impressed at just how calm he was in fact.
"Bruce, this is Jack, Bruce, and Alfred." I introduced. "Would you like to meet them properly?" I asked and he nodded, so Jack and I began to walk in further.
"That's far enough clown." He snapped.
I looked at Jack apologetically and he nodded, handing me Bruce. So I could introduce them to their uncle taking uneasy steps. I just didn't want him to do anything that could be too much.
