My life was over since the day my Madhuri died. The only reason I go on living is Avi... our daughter. I tried so hard to be strong for her... to not cry... to not go to my Madhuri. But no matter what I do I am never enough for her. No matter how much I try I cannot bring the smile she had on her face when Madhuri was there.
A few days ago she smiled brightly again... I was so happy when I saw her. But then she said she saw Madhuri. If only that were true... she just started imagining Madhuri like me. The dead can't come back.... & there is no such thing as miracles in this world.
All I can do is create an illusion & the only thing that helps me do that is drinking. When I drink I can see my Madhuri. Before coming back home today I drank a lot but I still haven't seen her. Maybe I should go up to my room & get another bottle drink.

Arohi POV
It was a stupid idea to come out of the room.We should have just waited for Kabir. Now I'm going to be caught. Kabir said no one can know we're here. I looked behind to see if that person was still coming when I bumped into someone. I looked up to see a man with messy hair wearing a white shirt. His eyes were blood red & he reeked of alcohol. I looked around the hall bewildered about what to do when my eyes fell on a photograph hanging on the wall.

It was of Kabir & this guy

It was of Kabir & this guy. Wait that means he must be Kabir's brother.... Avi's dad. I took one more close look at him.... judging by how he was barely standing I don't think he'll remember seeing me tomorrow morning... I just need to run back to the room quickly. I turned to run away when I tripped & fell into his arms.
