{Episode Four}
i was sitting with Elena at the grill when Damon sits down between us"bestie"he says to me "bestie"i said back and went back to reading. "what do you want?"Elena asked "so this is where you spend your time when your not stabbing people in the back."Damon said and i was close to kicking him under the table but he grabbed my leg and sits it on his lap before i could "i tricked you into telling me the truth. that's not stabbing you in the back. that's using your on tactics against you."Elena says "she's has a point"i said
"who side are you on"he says and i hold up my hands up and put my other leg on top of his. "where you going"he asks when Elena starts to pack her stuff. "i made myself clear Damon. i want nothing to do with you. see you at home"she says and i wave "okay. see you at Jenna's barbecue. "he says and i look up from my book "how did you know about Jenna's barbecue?"Elena and i asked
"it was my idea. Jenna went to high school with Mason Lockwood. so i figured a social gathering would be a good way to get to know the guy. so, i told Rick to tell Jenna--" "does Jenna know that your gonna be there?"Elena interrupts him. "she's not exactly a fan of yours"i tell him. then a waiter comes and give him a box "perfect. thank you. i was hoping this peach cobbler will pave the way"he says and stands up making my legs fall
"rude"i said and he hold out his hand for me and i take it and stand up. "what are you up too?"Elena asked "i'm gonna go put some silver into Mason Lockwood and prove he's a werewolf. see you at the Barbecue"Damon said and he walks away pulling me along. "we're gonna do something stupid , aren't we?"i asked and he smirks "yep"

"thanks for letting me invite Caroline. she could us a day of distraction"i said eating the chips Elena poured in the bowl. Stefan says it will help me not ripe someones throat out. "well she's not the plus one i'm worried about. why is Damon coming?"Jenna asked "because he's Ric friend and mines"i said "because Alaric is a pity-taker"Elena says and i roll my eyes "come on Jenna be nice"i said and she sighs "i'll be nice when Damon keeps his pawns of you and your sister"Jenna says and i choke on my drink "you and Damon?"i asked. i got this feeling in my gut and it was like my whole body was going into rage "what, no. never"she says and i nod.
"ahh, good news i found the shot glasses "Mason said walking into the kitchen. "yayy"i cheer the Jenna gives me a look "i was saying yay to this chip"i said and Elena laugh a little. "that would be our exit"Elena says and grabs my hand and pulls me away while i try to get more chips.

"Call me when you can"we hear Elena say when we walk onto the porch. "was that Stefan?"Caroline asked as she sat on my lap with the bowl of chips. "yeah, he hasn't called me back. i'm trying to decide if i should be worried."she says "i'm sure he's fine"i said "god i can not stop eating. Stefan says its a great way to sublimate the cravings "Care said "and god i have cravings"i said eating some chips. "it's horrible fighting the urge for blood every minute of everyday"Care says and i start to drift off in thought about how last night i was so close to killing Jenna when she pricked her finger, i had to go on a two hour run before calming down. "i know Stefan really hates that part of himself."Elena says getting my attention "well, yeah he hates that you're a consent temptation. "Care said and i hit her arms "Care"i said "he said that?"Elena asked
