We stepped inside the house. It looked even older from the inside than it did from the outside.


It was very dark.


"This house is gross!" I cried.

"Creepy to be exact." Amelia said, correcting me.

"It just needs some fixing up," Dad said, trying to assure us, but I could see that he was scared too.

"So, what are we supposed to do now?" Mom asked, worried.

"I don't know... This place looked completely different on pictures..." Dad said, confused.

"Well, we should at least give it a chance." Mom said, trying to cheer us up.

"Mom is right." Amelia agreed.

"Fine, then." Dad sighed.

I suddenly noticed that Mars had become quiet since we entered the house.

"Weird..." I thought.

I looked around. The house was pretty huge. We decided to walk upstairs. There were a lot of rooms.


By this time, I was starting to get excited.

Even though there were so many rooms, me and Amelia still chose one room, as we were used to living together. The room we chose was very spacious.


"I can keep my all makeup here, and my computer there!" Amelia chirped happily, deciding where to keep what.

I didn't have much stuff, to be honest.

Our room would always be filled with Amelia's girly stuff, so, anyone would say, it was supposed to be her room, not ours.

"Why do girls have so much stuff anyway?" I said in a teasing way.

Amelia glared at me.

I just shrugged.

"Come on, kids! Let's go for a walk outside!" Dad suddenly called us.

We immediately raced downstairs.

"We thought you guys must be getting bored, so why not take a walk outside," Mom spoke while wearing her jacket.

"That would be cool! Let's go!" I said, excited.

We all then got out.

We decided to take a look at the park nearby.

It seemed huge.

We were roaming around, when suddenly...
