I held little baby Maggie in my arms, she was tiny but healthy, I rocked her back and forward and kissed her small nose as mum lay in bed still sleeping after the C-section, I began humming softly and felt my phone buzz, I stroked maggie's forehead, before looking at my phone to see the picture of Riley and me pop up as the phone vibrated, i leaned over and grabbed it before answering "lizzie why are you at the hospital did something happen?" He asked concern clearly in his voice

"Mum had her baby" I smiled beginning to cry "oh my god really?" He cheered "yes little miss Maggie" I whispered, mums eyes opened and she smiled at me "tell Riley to come up here" she sighs "riley mum wants you to come up" I said "I'm already here" he chuckled before appearing at the room

He quietly opened the door and walked over to my mum kissing her cheek and shaking my dads hand "congratulations" he smiled handing them gifts before coming over to me, he grabbed me and kissed me before smiling down at Maggie, he looked at me and I nodded before handing her o we to him

He fixed her small body in his arms then smiled "hello beautiful girl" he chuckled, she slowly opened her eyes and stretched her arms out "I think she likes me" he chuckled softly stroking her head, I gave him a kiss and my parents smiled at us "so you'll have a baby" dad smiled, I blushed and giggled "oh god" I mumbled, Riley chuckled and looked down at Maggie who began to cry "aw no no no" he said softly and began rocking her, I looked at him as he made little faces and rocked her and I couldn't help smile in knowing that he would be a perfect daddy.

Riley looked at the groomers the inside had been torn apart and trashed, he looked at the door then proceeded to smash the window, he unlocked it and we went inside, i looked around and began picking things up finding a photo that would sit on the counter of Maggie, sandy and I when we first came to work there, it was scratched and torn in places

I wiped my eyes and turned around to see Riley crouched down beside the dog bath which was smashed up and hanging open "who could be so heartless?" He whispered "a lot of people" I whispered, i crouched beside him and he looked at me

"I just can't believe that this is what this place has become" I whispered, he touched my face and I noticed tears in his eyes, we melted into a hug, he stroked my hair and I kissed the side of his neck "this will not happen I will Make sure it won't happen" he said "maggie's hard work will not become a pile of rubble" he said, I nodded and we decided to leave

Before we could go to Riley's house, Riley got a call and had to go to work, so instead he dropped me off at my apartment so I could finally say goodbye and thank you to the staff there and pay them "I'll be back soon, I just need to Sort out another person" he smiled, "be safe" I kissed him and closed the door before going into the apartments.

Sandy and I decided it was a good day for a walk, I wasn't going to be here much longer and we needed to have our girl talks "so you and dean then?" I laughed, she pulled the plastic spoon out of her mouth and pointed it at me ice cream still on it "hey he's irresistible you can't blame me for that" she laughed, I rolled my eyes and tapped her back, we continued eating then she stopped walking "have you told him yet?" She asked, I swallowed my ice cream and looked at her "Liz you need to tell him" she scolded "I am, tonight" I said, she nodded squinting her eyes "you better" she said before laughing, "did Riley tell you?" She asked "what?" She smiled widely and rubbed my back "he bought the groomers, he's going to fix it up" she said, I smiled widely and hugged her "he's the best" I squealed before hearing on coming sirens, "could it?" Sandy wondered, we stood in place and watched them drive past, the car in front stopped spun around and headed straight towards the police car which had Riley and dean in it, I squealed as it hit their car, I ran across the street and seen them inside hanging over a drop into a field "Riley! Dean!" I screamed banging the windows, dean began to wake up "lizzie move!" Sandy screamed pulling me away from the car before it fell down the drop, sandy and I screamed before running down to them their car already on fire "call an ambulance!" I screamed beginning to kick what was left of the front window

"Riley! Dean!" I cried crawling into the car "lizzie be careful!" Sandy squealed, I could hear the car creaking and the flames heated it up, I pressed deans seat belt and he dropped but I stopped any more impact to his body "sandy take him!" I shouted she grabbed dean and pulled him out then I unclipped Riley, he fell to the roof of the car and I began pulling him out, "wake up!" Sandy screamed as I pulled Riley to a safe distance, I climbed over him "dean baby don't move" sandy cried "Riley?" I whispered stroking his blood soaked hair, his eyes opened and he smiled "it's not my time yet" he whispered, I grabbed his hand and he weakly pulled it away "no I'm not going with you" he said, I began to cry and he began to shake "Riley please" I screamed, I grabbed his tongue until he stopped shaking then he went unconscious I checked for a pulse and it was there faint but there

"Where the fuck are the ambulances!" I screamed "i don't know" sandy screamed back, I grabbed Riley's head and looked at the car "shit" I said before it exploded knocking me out.

I woke in a hospital bed, a drip in my hand and my head was sore, I looked around and pressed the call button and a couple minutes later a nurse walked in "well hello there" she smiled, I groaned and sat up "where's sandy, dean ... Riley?" I asked "these are the other three involved in the accident?" She asked "yes I need to know if they are okay?" I asked before noticing the burn on my arms "don't tell me my face was burnt" I whispered, she slowly shook her head "no sweetheart just small burns on your jaw and neck, sadly they will scar but it shouldn't be a problem" she said softly, I rubbed my forehead as she pulled back a curtain "sandy" I whispered seeing her burn body "she was worse but her face only sustained minor burns and they shalt be noticeable with a bit of makeup" the nurse explained "can I stand up?" I asked, she stared at me for a moment before nodding "okay sweetheart but be gentle" she said, she grabbed my arm and helped me up, I grabbed the drip holder and walked over to sandy, I stroked her hair and looked at her sleeping body "can I see the others?" I asked "of course, follow me" she smiled, I followed her to a room down the hall from mine "these men are quite a bad state" she warned before opening the door to find dean trying to get up "sir I told you already you need to stay in bed" she scolded "I need to see my girlfriend" he snapped "you have a visitor" he looked over and seen me, he smiled and I slowly walked over to him giving him a kiss

"Is sandy okay?" He asked grabbing my hand "she's fine, she burnt badly but she's fine" i reassured, I stroked his hair and sat down "dean I need to tell you something and I don't know how to tell Riley" I whispered "he's right there" he said pointing at the curtain beside him, I slowly stood up and opened the curtain to see Riley, I stroked his hair and looked at dean "he hasn't woken since the accident" he whispered, I grabbed Riley's hand and kissed it "riley" I whispered kissing him softly, his hand tightened on mine and he groaned opening his eyes and looking into mine, "Riley" I smiled stroking his cheek "I knew you didn't leave me" he smiled before passing out again "he's never woken up like that with anyone" dean said, I hugged him and kissed his cheek "I'm going to get some food" I smiled "could you grab me a apple, I've been craving them for ages" he smiled, I nodded and left to see Adam, Riley jr and Rachel running up the hallway

"He's in there" I said before walking away "are you okay?" Adam asked "yeah a couple burns but I'm fine" I smiled before continuing on my way to get food

"Lizzie don't go in there" Adam said holding me away from the door "why what's happened?" I asked "Riley's lost his memory, he thinks he's still with Rachel" he said, I pushed past him an opened the door to see him all smitten as he talked to Rachel "lizzie" she whispered, heartbreak in her eyes, I slowly walked into view and Riley looked at me for a moment "new friend?" He asked Rachel "I guess you could say that" "and who's this little guy?" He asked smiling at Riley jr "this is your nephew, Riley jr" she whispered "Wait... what?" He whispered "this is Adam and my baby" she whispered "no Rachel you must have hit your head or something, you are with me" he snapped "Riley, I left you for Adam, and this summer you met lizzie, she's your girlfriend" Rachel snapped before smacking him, he looked at me and back at her "bullshit" he snapped before looking at Riley jr "what's wrong uncle riley" he whispered stroking his face with his little hand "riley, please remember" I finally piped up sitting on this bed "please" I whispered, I placed my head on his chest and began to cry "I'm sorry but I cant" he whispered stroking my hair, I looked at him and he was looking at me, but it wasn't the Riley I love......
