unmasked

who are these unmasked marauders       that thrust their irresponsible beliefs upon me                spewing forth selfish scorn towards the responsible            the irony     when those responsible were those who came before            in fact     they broadcast hatred for fellow man and woman     spitting molecules of self-centred indignation across the ether        charging others with infringement upon their rights     as they trample across the rights of others        false idols of righteousness against  'the man'       protecting?     fighting?          for rights they neither fought for nor understand      unaware of the sacred social contract signed in blood by our ancestors     their ancestors     as they bloody the guilty and guiltless alike     tearing civility asunder      infecting us with a home grown disease         Hell bent on their own destruction

I think this poem speaks towards the times and those egoists that are confused about rights and responsibilities.
