Bad Western

Like trying to stop a stink rising into the air from a sour gas well;
United solely by what they're against and not what they are for,
Such horrible, rancid, stagnate slew water
Spills forth from damned up emotions
Rushing past the floodgates of decorum
With more consideration for broken ideas
Than best interests; spewing forth
An elixir of daft thoughts and vested interest;
A concoction of condemned falsehoods
That, cut and laced with sordid hypocrisy,
Is sold to exploited insatiable addicts;
Injected into the mainstream
Of those that believe themselves wronged,
Those that dreamed the dream of their fathers,
One generation separated from those who actually shed blood;
What happened?
The discontented descendants from an era of accumulated wealth,
A cast for which this scripted nonsense is recited
Like dubbed in English in a bad Western movie,
Fashioning a fiction for the rest us
Where freedom has lost out ...
A freedom at risk to a minority's tyranny.
