Project: Don't Fall For Them (Neji x Tenten)

Neji's POV

We made it to the restaurant and it was one of the nicest places I've ever been in. Shikamaru talked to the person at the front and they walked us to our tables. Since we were such a big group, we had to sit at two different tables. 

Everybody went to where they wanted to sit. Tenten walked over and sat in between Kiba and Hinata.

Did she forget about me? 

Unfortunately I was too late to choose a seat on the same table as her, and I ended up on the other table. My table included: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Lee, Shikamaru, and Shino. Wow what a great table.

"Maaan look at the prices of the food." I heard Tenten say from the other table. 

I then turned back over to my table and here's a summary of what I was sitting through.

"YOuth" 

"What a drag-"

"SHUT UP SASUKE"

"Naruto stop running your mouth like a headless chicken"

"YoouTH"

"Stupid. If a chicken didn't have a head, thAn it cant Run it's mouth"

"-drag"

"Quiet Naruto, you're being loud" 

*punching sounds*??? (sakura just punched naruto)

"YOUTH" 

*shino mumbling noises*

"please shut up" I mumbled.

I sat through the chaos for a while until the waiter finally came and took our orders. Naruto ordered the most expensive thing on the menu and I don't think he realized that. 

I ordered a Barbecue Scottish Salmon Fillet (please don't come at me, it's a real thing). 

The waiter finally got through all  of the orders and told us the wait might be a while since we were such a big group. Damn. How long am I gonna have to wait with these people?

I looked over at Tenten's table again. 

She was over there having fun and laughing with her best friends while I'm over here babysitting.

I decided to just deal with it until our food came.

*long time skip*

The food came. 15 years later. I SAT THERE WAITING THE ENTIRE TIME WITH THE TWO LOVEBIRDS WHO WOULDNT SHUT UP FOR THE LIFE OF THEM. 

By now everybody's food arrived. I looked back over at Tenten's table to see what she got, and all she got was a cheese pizza.

My jaw dropped. Why did she order a cheese pizza at a fancy restaurant like this?? um..

"Tenten." I said loud enough so she could hear me.

She looked in my direction. "Neji?"

I stared at her.

"Do you need something?" She asked.

"You ordered a cheese pizza?" I asked her.

"yeah why?"

"at this restaurant?"

"yes"

I looked at her and asked "why is that?" 

"it was the cheapest thing on the menu"

I looked at her with a bit of concern.

"Neji you know I'm broke"
