Project: Don't Fall For Them (Neji x Tenten)

Project Pairing

Tenten's pov:

Eating on the roof of the school was always our thing. What I mean by "our thing" is Me, Sakura, Hinata, Ino, and Temari's thing. I really enjoyed being up there with just them because it meant that nobody was listening to what we talked about and it was just peaceful. Sometimes our other friends (yknow the boys) would join us but that was occasionally when we felt extra lonely. But today we were reminded of something that I didn't know would change me.

"Hey Sakura I really don't mean to be rude or anything but your lunch smells really bad." Hinata said.

"Hey! Hinata is right! Your lunch really does smell just like you, forehead." Ino said as she grabbed Sakura's lunch. "This curry looks like it's 2 weeks old!"

Sakura snatched the container from Ino and smelled the curry. "UCK SMELLS LIKE SHIT."

Temari came up the ladder and yelled,"Why are you guys yelling so loud. I could hear you all the way from inside the school."

"Ha.. well Sakura was the one that was screaming and it's because her food smells like shit. Oh yeah, and Ino said it looked like it's 2 weeks old" I responded. "Speaking of which...Sakura you probably shouldn't eat that."

Temari grabbed the container with the horrid curry in it and chucked it off the roof. "I'll get rid out it for ya. There!" To a great coincidence it landed on the pervy old man that always hangs around the school.

"Oh god. TEMARI YOU DUMBASS YOU THREW IT AT JIRAIYA. If he finds out it was us and reports us to Tsunade she's gonna make us clean the bathrooms AGAIN." Sakura scolded Temari.

"Relax. He won't be able to see us from up here. Plus, it looks like he's enjoying it." Temari pointed at Jiraiya.

We all turned around and saw him eating the retired curry. Then we all turned around again and bursted out laughing. "That old man is someting else" Ino said.

After we were done with our laughfest, Hinata started to speak."Speaking of Tsunade and her labor torture..isn't the traditional history project coming up soon."

Taking in every single cursed word Hinata just said I groaned for as long as I possibly could to show them that I really didn't want to do the project and to show them how extra I could be.

"Tenten, you're being extra again. You must really not want to graduate hm. It's a required project, we have to do it or we'll pretty much fail our history class. It isn't that terrible! Cheer up!" Ino said.

Temari just sat there with an expressionless face and began to speak. "What's this project Tenten's being a baby over?"

"Oh that's right. Temari since you just started going to this school this year you probably don't know what we're talking about". Sakura said. " Well, at Konoha high school we have to do a project on a period of time in shinobi history. We have to work in pairs too. This year they're allowing students to give a say on who they want their partners to be because last year half of the projects weren't finished because the students that were paired together didn't get along very well."

Temari nodded in understanding. "So I bet this project can do a lot for people yeah? Make people have disagreements or whatever and completely ruin their view on each other."

"I don't think it's that extreme Temari." Hinata said

I sat there with the most deadly expression anybody would ever see. Everyone just stared at me in horror an annoyance. I really didn't want to do the project even if we could pretty much choose who to do it with. Work is still work.
