They kept investigating until Natsu being the idiot he is starting to stomp his foot on the ground which collapsed the floor and they fell down a long tunnel and they hit the floor.
After being scolded by his two teammates and happy the continue down a tunnel and when they came out they saw a massive monster in chase in a giant thing of ice.

She taught him how to do magic and was like a mother to him. But he then explain that he went off to fight the demon and envy and ur had to sacrifice yourself to use a magic spell called Ice shell. A powerful spell that uses the casters own life to freeze away its enemy.
After hearing about this the Mages try to Comfort Gray. Then natsu heard voices coming down the tunnel they came out through.
They hid behind a rock and looked over. To see three individuals.
One with dog like features the other with the biggest eyebrows you could ever imagine and why would you like being like a Gothic like dress.
They kept talking about how they can and let The Intruders know their intentions and that they now saw deliora that they needed to be killed.
They started talking about the ceremony of the Moon and how the moon trip would be able to free deliora.
The three individuals walked away and the fairy tale may just decided to wait unti night.
During this time gray couldn't wrap his head around you why would they try to unseal deliora didn't know the damage this thing could cause the amount of people can die because of it.
Lucy then proceeded to summon one for Celestial Spirits it was a singer and she ask her spirit to play a song for them and the spirit proceeded to play a song. But what they didn't know was that the song was basically making gray go through a Naruto flashback.
( swear to God Naruto flashbacks last like 10 seasons. Or if one doesn't last long you know there's 10 more around the corner.)
Gray started to cry remembering the memories of his old teacher. Lucy saw this and decided they cut the music it'd be better if they remain quiet and wait until Nightfall.
Night
Once it was night the three Mages plus happy went to the top of the temple to see the three individuals but also a man wearing a mask.

The masked name asked about the Intruders a.k.a the fairy Tail mages.
He ordered his subordinates to destroy the village. Which the Fairy Tail Mages would not allow that so they made themself know.
