my brother stepped into my room as i was studying.
"howdy bitch!" he hollers as he jumps onto my bed
"what's up, asshole?" he laughed,
"not much. uhm, me, rae, and sean are about to hop on an among us lobby. wanna take a break?"
"you know what, sure." i say after much hesitation. i noticed his breath slightly halt as i stated my uncommon response.
"wow, okay, i'll add you to the chat on discord... everyone will be happy to see you, especially rae."
"cool, cool." i say as i walk over to my desk, and he exists the room
i get a ping on my laptop from discord. i see that i have been added to a server. i move my mouse over to join vc which already has my brother, rae, sean, and sykkuno.
"h-hello," i say hesitantly,
"angel!" you're here! i haven't spoken to you in so long, how is your studying going?" more people started to join the call as i answered,
"oh don't get me started," i chuckled,
"it's going alright, i'm pretty confident with my material but- yeah," i stopped as more and more people started to join the call, so i decided to not annoy them with my work talk.
"cool, cool," rae spoke before greeting sean, poki, lili, and of course my brother. and some new people named 'toast', 'tommy', and 'corpse'. all of whom had just joined the vc.
"hi andy, long time no chat!" poki spoke, causing me to smile.
"hello, poki! it has. i really need to prioritize my social connections." i laugh,
"uhh, andy, you have to stop using big words" my brother spoke,
"well marek-" i stuttered, not knowing what to say, so i just resorted to laughter.
a few moments go by before i start,
"hello sean!" i said, happy to see him.
"hi andy, we missed you."
"i missed you guys more!"
people were still setting up their stream so i thought i'd continue talking to people since i had no streaming obligations prior to playing this game.
"hi sykkuno!"
"hello andy, how's it goin'?"
"it's going alright, how about you?"
"it's alright," he said with an obvious smile pitch in his voice.
"alright, andy," rae started,
"i don't think you know everyone so i'll introduce you... this here is toast,"
"hello andy,"
"nice to meet you toast." i smiled,
"you too,"
"next is corpse husband," rae said,
"hello friend-- angel, is it?" corpse wondered,
"oh hello, my name is actually andy but i do like angel," i laugh,
"it's very nice to meet you. marek and rae tell me a lot about you."
"good things i hope,"
"oh of course," i confirmed. he chuckled, which made me smile.
"how's your day, i heard earlier that you're studying for something?" corpse asked,
"i- um yeah, it's going okay, thank you, just stressing a bit. how are you?"
