mirror mirror on the wall, who's beautiful of them all?
you stand in front of the mirror, looking at yourself
but the person isn't just you.
you see all those broken parts and the battered skin.
those scars of battles you wish you had never seen.
but you do and it fills you with regret every single day.
you can't help but to feel that you're not worthy enough.
whenever someone compliments you,
you say that you do not deserve it.
that you do not deserve anything less than pain.
but let me tell you how much you're wrong.
that how much you're still worthy of unconditional love,
cause you're not anyone but you.
you've fought battles that no one could've ever win
and won things that no one could ever achieve but you.
do you even know how much precious you're my friend?
you see yourself in the mirror
and judge that you're ugly
and that, you can never be beautiful again.
but have you seen yourself when you smile?
the smile that always lights up my face
and the cheerful giggles that always fill my heart.
dear friend, have you seen yourself in the mirror at that time?
they're priceless and precious and so wonderful.
those moments, i wish i could encase in a jar
and open them everyday.
so the next time you look in the mirror and feel low,
remember that no matter how you may feel,
you'll always be the most wonderful person for someone.
and today, that someone's me.

with love,
stranger <3
