Nervousness. Thats what I feel right now sitting in my fathers office waiting on him to come so me and Maddox can confront him about my mother. Im so nervous to hear the truth, but all of a sudden I feel a wave of calmness rush over me. I look down and see Maddox rubbing my thigh. I look up and smile at my amazing perfect mate. We have already been through so much together and he has stood by me and supported me endlessly.
"Emi" I hear my fathers voice "what are you doing here?" He ask a little worried. "I have questions of my mother, what was she? I always knew she wasnt a werewolf like us, but what is she? I had my luna shift and me and my mate were wondering because my wolf is red. Which you being an alpha and all know is the color our wolves are if were a hybrid." I say looking my father straight in the eye.
"Your right. You are old enough now that I can tell you. Please just keep an open mind, because you know hybrids are very rare. Either your one or the other. Not both.'" He says. "Right" me and maddox both say at the same time.
"Emi your mother was a vampire." He says cautiously. I feel nothing but shock and fear run through me. I feel myself start to hypervenalate. I feel Maddox pull me onto his lap and start stroking my hair and whispering sweet nothings in my ear. "How can this be!? How can I be a vampire? I dont have an urge to drink blood or anything." I tell him "Its because you havent triggered your vampire side. You have to take a life to do that Emi.." my father says cautiously. My heart drops. I havent taken a life yet but as a werewolf I will eventually. It isnt something I can stop.
"Baby what ever happens I am here by your side supporting you and I will help you through everything" I hear Maddox say lovingly. I look up at him and kiss him on the cheek, he smiles at me so lovingly like Im the most dearest thing to him.
"Emi" I hear my dads voice interupt our little intimate moment "yes?" I ask.
"I think its time for you to meet your mothers family..." My father says.
