KALLUMI POV

as we sat in silence i couldn't help but feel like there was someone watching us...

as i looked around a burst of a killing intent made me shot up my sit as tried looking around trying to find the culprit...

the three of us looked through the corridor to see no one

"something wrong?" the three of us looked through the opposite corridor as we saw the chairman walking towards us

'he's fast'

i looked at Killua, as i saw him giving Netero a suspicious look

"ah, Netero-san, did you see anyone coming from that side?" Gon pointed at the corridor..

"no" Netero shook his head, as me and Killua gave him a suspicious look

'when did he?'

"you're pretty fast for an old man"

"that little trick? i barely moved"

Killua glared at the chairman as the chairman looked at him

"what do you want? you don't have to do anything until the last phase, right?"

"no need to be so unkind. i got bored, and was looking for some companions"

Killua still didn't trust the old man as he looked at him

"by the way, i meant to ask the three of you...any thoughts on your first attempt at the hunter examination?"

"uh-huh!, its fun! and there haven't been any of the written exams i was dreading" gon exclaimed as he smiled at the old man

"i'm disappointed...i expected the exam to be far more difficult. i assume the next phase will be more entertaining?"

"well, now..i wouldn't know about that, how about you young lady?"Netero said as he looked at me, 

"hmm..it's a bit boring, the exam was too easy and predictable." i said putting my hands in my pockets

"predictable?"

"yes, it's the trick tower isn't it?" i asked 

the old man's eyes went wide as he then chuckled

"my you really are a smart little girl"

Killua didn't waste no time as he grabbed my arm and looked at gon..

"let's go, Gon"

"now wait just a moment."

Killua and I stopped walking as we listened to what the old man will say

"would you like to play a game with me?"

" a game?"

"if you're able to defeat me, i shall let you be hunters!"

"really?, i'll play!"

Killua held my hand tightly as he looked at Netero

"how about it eh?"

" now i'll go over the rules of the game. if you can take this ball from me, before the airship reaches its destination, you win, i believe that were scheduled for an 8AM arrival?"

" well that still give you nine hours, you're free to attack me however you'd like, i won't touch you"

"huh?, that's too easy.you can't call that a game"

"why not give it a try first?"

" we just have to take the ball?"

"yeah"

"then i'll go first"

" go ahead"

Killua then started walking in circular motion

'he's looking down on me'

as he then walked multiple Killua's were then seen..

Killua then smirked as he looked at me

"hm.. you're smart f/n"

i smiled as i looked at him ready to attack

"woah!, now that's why i see a lot of Killua's!"

'this is an assassination technique..rhythm echo'

[ ok so i'm not really good at writing fighting scenes, so let's just time skip and its your turn]

"Killua, may i?" i asked as he looked at, he then went towards me as we clapped each others hand

Netero was spinning the ball in his fingers as he looked at me

"ready?"

before he could get an answer i was already behind him, catching him off guard as he made the ball go into his other hand

"you're a fast one"

i then looked at him as i appeared in front of him, i took the ball but it ended up disappearing , making me annoyed as i saw Netero with the ball in his feet

i then stopped moving making the three confused

"huh?, why is f/n not moving?" gon asked as he looked at 'me'

Netero and the two were too focused on the other me as i swiftly took the ball in Netero's hands

the other me vanished as i was now sitting..

"huh where is f/n?" gon looked around trying to find the certain 'brunette'

"here"

the three looked at me shock as they saw me smirking while holding the ball in my hand

"woah!,f/n how did you do that!" gon exclaimed as he went in front of me 

"i'm impressed you know some assassin techniques" killua stated as he then looked at me with a smirk

'The human doppleganger, an advance assassination technique used to make multiple of themselves, moves and acts as the original, making it hard to know who the original was, though it takes huge training to achieve the advance technique' Netero thought as he wondered looking at kallumi with both worry and amusement

'only a handful of assassins can use this technique as it needs a lot of strength and training to complete the technique...this kid...has gone through pain'
