Prologue

◈ ━━━━━━ 𝑯𝑼𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑹━━━━━━ ◈

KALLUMI POV

As I heard a sharp ding, the elevator door opened, revealing a few applicants looking at me, making me a little nervous from the tension. and just as I was about to go to a corner, a green-looking creature approached me, "Hello! my name is bean! Please take this badge and wear it for the rest of the exam!" bean handed me a badge, I mumbled a small "thank you" as I took it from him. I flipped it over to find #32.

I pinned it to my dress and walked into a corner. As I sat on an empty corner, a chubby man started approaching me with a bag full of canned drinks...

"Hi! I'm tonpa! Nice to meet you!" the chubby man whose name was tonpa smiled at me, waiting for a response...

Tonpa is a short, fat man with tan skin, brown hair, a large nose, and thick eyebrows. He wears a large, blue v-neck shirt, with a white symbol resembling a lowercase "ｉ" on its right side, over a matching pair of light, blue-grey sweats.

"Hello, I'm Kallumi," I said trying to be polite, But my disgust is still evident.

He looks like a toad...

"For a rookie like you, you should be careful, some applicants can be a little competitive"tonpa said, as he started to pick something from his bag.

I simply nod understanding what he said, "here! have some juice, think of it as a token of our newly made friendship!" Tonpa said handing me a can of juice.

"Thanks, I guess?" I said taking the canned juice, I opened it, then looked at it for a second before looking at Tonpa. He had a somewhat evil smirk planted on his chubby face.

And as I drank the poisoned juice, his smirk grew even wider, Pathetic. I finished the juice in a matter of seconds before putting the emptied can in his big hands.

This caused him to be confused, So he just stared at me with curiosity. "Y'know, poisoning your friend's juice is bad," I smirked, his ugly face came into a shock before he looked at me frightened. Was it because I was a child who can endure poisons? Or was it because I just broke his other hand?

I smirked once again before walking away to go to a better place to rest, but I know very well he was looking at me. "H-How did you know? And how did you d-do that?" He yelled, I just stuck out my middle finger while walking away.

He wasn't even going to last this exam anyways...
