Vladimir stood smirking at me. "Is that so?" He asked, and I nodded eagerly. "Tomorrow
perhaps," He began turning away. "when I'm more...in the mood." Then walked out.
I was stunned for two seconds then picked up the pillow and threw it at him. It didn't have the
effect I wanted and to make matters worse, he laughed after he was hit. "Frustrated darling!" He
teased from the doorway before ducking outside. A good thing too as I had picked up a vase.
I hated dealing with that S.O.B! Nothing I did worked on him! It was always his terms, his way. I
stared at the walk-in. I had the sudden urge to burn his clothes but since he wasn't wearing
them there would be no point.
His terms. His way. That's was my last coherent thought after I was accosted the next morning in
the library.

I heard no footsteps approach. No door open. Nothing. Before I was grabbed from behind. A
masculine voice purred in my ear. "I know you love a good book, darling..." He took away the
book from my slack hands as he said so. "but you really should pay attention to your
surroundings. Someone could pounce on you at any moment."
I turned in his arms completely unafraid as I said. "I am in my husband's castle, no one would
dare harm me here."
"Correction Love, I never said anything about harm and two; this is our castle."
I smiled serenely and walked out of his arms, never before cast in this role, I was the femme
fatale. "If pouncing is your only intention Your Highness, you could have done so last night!" I
recalled bitterly.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk...still cross I see." He smirked. "I have a way to make your smile bright."
"I'll pass," I said coldly, my back facing him.
He came up behind me and began undoing the buttons on my peach silk shirt, I slapped his
hands away and he laughed. "Do you wish to do it yourself?"
Finally facing him I declared. "I said no!"
"Really?" He frowned, and I recalled the last time I refused him. "I wonder what will change your
mind." He mused tapping the side of his lips.
