~Payton's POV~

S: we just kissed and you're acting like it's nothing?

P: it was nothing. It was an accident

S: but... uh never mind.

What did I do?

~Samanthas POV~

Me and Payton just kissed and he doesn't even care about it. I know it was a little thing and it wasn't supposed to happen... but it did. I've liked him, more then as a friend, for a little while now but he hasn't noticed. I'm too scared to say anything though.

But now I don't want to at all. He really hurt my feelings.

~Payton's POV~

P: did I do something wrong?

S: ...no

She's lying

P: yes I did. What did I do?

S: nothing Payton

P: I'm sorry...

S: it's ok, you did nothing wrong

P: stop lying to me Samantha

She sighed before looking down.

S: can I see that?

Samantha pointed at the picture in my hands. I haven't looked at it yet because the actual picture was facing downwards.

P: sure

I handed her the picture and right when she flipped it over, the both of us froze. It's...

P+S: woah

The both of us looked back up at each other and just starred. She looks so beautiful.

I need to ask her something before it's too late.

P: Samantha?

S: mhm

P: if I had asked you to the dance... what would you have said?

S: I would say yes. Why? We're you thinking about it?

P: yeah, but I thought you would say no so I didn't.

Samantha laughed at me while lightly punching my chest

S: you should have done it! Today would have been so much better.

P: I'm sorry

S: it's fine. It's just a dance. At least we're here now.

She's so cute... you know what? Screw it!

I quickly grabbed Samanthas chin with one hand and connected our lips together. She hesitated at first but ended up kissing me back.

~Samanthas POV~

OH MY GOD!

Payton is kissing me... FOR REAL THIS TIME! I'm super happy right now but, all of this doesn't fell right. I don't know what it is but it just doesn't. How he acted a few seconds ago really messed with my head.

I'm about to do something really stupid and I know I'm going to regret it later...

~Payton's POV~

After making out for a few seconds, something felt off with Samantha. I thought everything was fine until she slowly pulled away from me and look down.

P: a-are you ok?

S: we're best friends Payton

P: you don't think can be more then that?
