"My stomach not hurtin' that bad." I told Saint as we sat in the emergency room "And this not hot no more." I said tapping it
"Do it feel numb?" he ask and I shook my head "It's still hard though." I said pushing it "Stop it could be anything." he said grabbing my hand
"K'asani Carter." The guy called out "Tired of coming to the hospital." I mumbled as we made our way to the nurse
"Hello, follow me." he said simply and began walking with us behind him. He led us to the room where we had to wait for the doctor
"Yo this the same room we- I'm disappointed in myself." I said shaking my head "Let's do it ag-" Saint started but was cut off by a knock on the door
"Come in." I said eyeing Saint "Hello were just gonna start off like a regular check up. Then we can get to the problem." The doctor said smiling warmly making me nod

"Okay your vitals are great. So what seems to bring you up here today?" she asked putting the stethoscope around her neck
"I have this scar on my stomach and earlier it was burning and its also hard. Then after that I was throwing up brown stuff." I explained and she nodded
"Usually when people throw up brown it can be a sign of past trauma." the doctor said "Was there anything that triggered you?" she asked and I nodded slightly
"Sorry to hear that. But I can do an x-ray cause it seems to be moving." she said putting pressure on my stomach
"Um I'm pregnant." I told her and she stopped. "I am so sorry." she quickly apologized "But I can have you sent to a different room for the x-ray" she said making me nod before she walked out
"Are you even allowed to have x rays when you pregnant?" Saint asked "Yea they give you a heavier lead apron so the radiation don't interfere with the baby." I explained
"Yeaaa look at my li' Michelle Obama." he smiled high-fiving me making me chuckle "She was doing too much pushin' that thing like that." Saint mugged
"Bruh let's not forget it's her job."'I reminded and he smacked his lips "I'll shoot her ass if my baby come out with one eye." he said randomly
"Bruh what? One eye." I laughed "Hell yea. I ain't raising no remyyy girlll." he sung making me laugh "You really slow bruh." I said
"Excuse me. Ms Carter?" a nurse knocked on the wall since the doctor left it wide open "Yes?" I said lowly "Follow me to the radiation room." she said
"Wait right here until the x ray technician comes." she said and I nodded "You good son?" I looked over at Saint
"Yea. Just thinking." he said. "About?" I smiled "How I'm finna tear this food up." he said rubbing his hands together making me suck my teeth
"Get on my nerves." I chuckled "My favorite hobby." he said smiling goofily at me "You so- man I'm so geeked over you." he said now smiling harder
"Yeaaa cause you my li' bitch boy." I joked making his smile fall. "Alway ruining it." he mugged as the technician walked over to us
"Hi. I need you to follow me in the room it'll only be few." the doctor smiled as I followed behind her "Okay I'm gonna wrap this around and then you'll need to lay on the table." she said wrapping the led apron around me
After getting on the table she took a couple photos then sent me back to the room we were in previously where we sat and waited for the doctor to enter the room.
