It's Sunday and balik trabaho na naman kami ni Julie bukas, hindi pa parehas schedule namin kaya I think I'm gonna spend today with her, kahit gaano kasungit pa siya ngayong araw. I don't usually knock because I just take her spare key from her hiding place when I need it saka baka tulog pa yun, marami yatang inaral kagabi. When I opened her door naamoy ko kaagad yung pabango niya and I knew she was up "Jules?" "Kitchen" I heard her say and saw her standing by the counter drinking water "May lakad?" I asked her seeing na bagong ligo siya at nakabihis na "Yeah, may party kasi kami sa school next week, hahanap lang ako ng accessories, saka grocery day na rin" "Samahan kita?" "Ha? Wag na. Pahinga ka na lang Monday na bukas eh" "Kaya nga samahan kita, 1 week na naman tayong busy eh" "Sure ka?" "Yup!" I gave her a big excited smile, moved closer, and hugged her "Good Morning Love" I whispered in her ear "Oh nananamantala ka" she playfully said while removing my hands around her waist "Ang paalam mo ligaw, love love ka diyan" "Aga mo namang masungit, namiss lang naman kita" "Namiss? "Bitaw" she told me as she gave me her tiger look "Sabi ko nga haha. So kumain ka na?" "Hindi pa" "Hindi pa tapos ready ka na umalis?" "Bakit?" "Ayan ka na naman eh, magkakasakit sa ginagawa mo" "Elmo sayang yung oras" "Wag kang magulo, upo, magluluto ako" "Wag na, mamayang lunch na lang ako kakain" "Uupo ka o yayakapin kita habang nagluluto ako?" "Sabi ko nga uupo" she sat quietly as I go through her kitchen and saw not much was in here "Wala kang stocks" "Kaya nga maggrogrocery" "Grocery day natin every Sunday" I told her while I chopped some garlic "Ha? Di ba si Yaya gumagawa ng grocery niyo?" "Oo" "Oh bakit grocery day?" "Sasamahan kita para sure akong you have enough for the week" "Kaya ko naman mag isa" "Ayoko nga" "Bahala ka ang kulit mo" I faced her and sat in front of her as I wait for the food to simmer "You know delikado na yung spare key mo sa labas, pano kung may ibang makaalam ng hiding place mo? Lagi ka pa namang mag isa dito" "Ikaw din naman nakikinabang dun" "Pano nga kung hindi ako?" "Edi keep it" "Ha? You're giving me your spare key?" "Yeah, para if ever I forget my keys I can call you, saka sabi mo delikado" "I mean pwede namang wag ka nang maglagay" "Eh pano ka papasok dito kung wala kang susi?" "So gusto mong nandito ako" I looked at her sheepishly to tease her "Nasusunog na yung niluluto mo" she said to avoid eye contact "Hindi naman eh, iniiba mo lang yung topic" "Ewan ko sayo" "Ano nga, gusto mong andito ako?" "Fine. I feel safe when you're here" she embrassly admitted while looking away "Jules" "Hm?" "I love you" She smiled and sighed a little "Hay ewan ko sayo, ang aga aga napakakulit" I just laughed and turned my back on her and finished cooking her breakfast Breakfast wasn't silent, breakfast with her is always special. Masaya siya ngayong araw, hindi niya pinapansin yung paglalambing ko pero di rin naman niya ako sinusuway which is a good thing. We went to the mall and Julie started looking for the things she needs. Maingat siyang pumili. Nakakailang store na kami pero wala pa rin siyang masyadong nabibili "Maganda yan, bagay sayo" Umiling siya sakin "Mahal eh" "Ako na bahala" "Moe, no" "What? Minsan lang naman" "Hindi na. Lagi na ngang libre yung breakfast ko sayo, ayokong ginagastusan ako" "Oo na po sungit" She smiled at me and pulled the hem of my shirt "Tara sa Adidas" "Okay" I simply said. Pagpasok samin hinila niya ko sa Men's section "Pili ka na" she said "Ha?" "Pili ka na ng shoes dali, I know you love this brand, treat ko" she happily told me "Jules wag na, mahal kaya dito" "Okay lang, sige na pili na, inipon ko yung mga pamasahe ko sa grab since sinusundo mo naman ako, gusto ko lang makabawi sayo" "Ayaw" "Moe magtatampo ako" "Love tinitipid mo yung sarili mo kanina tapos ngayon papapiliin mo ko dito eh mas mahal pa to kesa dun sa mga gusto mo" "Moe please? I just feel like I owe you" "You don't owe me anything" "Sige na Moe, para pag di mo ko kasama and you're wearing the shoes you'll remember me" she fluttered her eyes as if convincing me na hindi siya magpapatalo "Fine" I simply said and asked one of the employees "Sir, anong shoes niyo dito yung may ternong pang babae?" Kuya lead us to a side with the couple shoes and I chose a simple one "Anong size mo?" "Ha?" Julie asked "Yung paa mo?" "Bakit? Eh ikaw yung pinapapili ko" "Look, I won't let you compromise yourself for me, so let's meet halfway, I'll let you buy me shoes but you're gonna have to let me buy you shoes too" Julie smiled at me and surrendered, she agreed about the one I chose and tried them on. After buying shoes and Julie's accessories, we're now on our way to the grocery store "Moe, cr muna ako before we go sa grocery" "Sure" I simply answered Julie went in the comfort room while I wait for her in the hallway. After a few minutes she came out and smiled at me but immediately lost that smile when he saw a guy walking towards us with a woman by his side "Miss San Jose" the guy greeted Julie "Attorney Alves" and she nodded "Babe you know them?" Said the girl he was with "Yeah, she works in our firm, while this guy here is the son of the owner" Neither Julie and I were speaking "Oh! Maybe you guys wanna join us for dinner?" "Babe" this alves guy nodged his girlfriend as if telling her No So the girl spoke again "Right, sorry guys, I think B wanna spend the night privately, it's our anniversary kasi" Julie's eyes grew wider as she spoke "Anniversary? Like a year?" "Yeah, actually he proposed na 2 months ago but we still celebrate our monthsaries" "Oh wow" Julie said dumbfoundedly "Well nice to meet you guys but will you excuse me, I need to go to the washroom" the woman said and kissed Alves on the lips while I felt Julie winced at the sight When she left Julie finally looked at Alves and spoke "So 1 year mo na kong niloloko?" "Julie" he simply said "At may proposal pa?" "Look I like you but you're no fun, di mo mabigay yung kailangan ko because of your virginity pact shit" "So bakit mo pa ko hinahabol nung nakipagbreak ako sayo?" "Obvious ba? Because I'm not finished with you yet, I needed to get a score bago kita ipamigay diyan sa amboy puppy lover mo" I felt how angry Julie is and I don't know what to do, I saw how her eyes started to water so I held her hand "Love, let's go?" Julie looked at me with sad eyes and a faint smile, we walked away and heard her whisper "Thank you" "Pare, magsasawa ka lang maghintay diyan, just find someone else to have fun with" I heard Alves shout I held Julie's hand tighter and led her to the car. Our entire trip home she was quiet When we reached her house, hinatid ko siya sa loob "Do you want some time alone? I can go" I told her Julie looked at me and I saw how her expression changed, she pulled me by my hand and walked up to her room. She pushed me on her bed and kissed me on the lips. I immediately pulled away and stood up "What are you doing?" I worriedly asked her She pulled her shirt up and took it off, I turned around so I wouldn't see her without it "Julie what the hell are you doing?" "Come on Moe, let's get this over with para malaman mo na kung mahal mo ba talaga ako or infatuation lang yan "Can you please put your shirt back on? "Why? Halika na para bukas makamove on ka na sa susunod na babae mo" She loudly told me as she pulled my hand, she wanted me to get closer but I resisted, instead I hugged her tightly. At first she kept on pushing me until she resigned and started crying "I'm sorry" she blurted out as I felt her tears on my shirt I cupped her face and made her look at me "Are you done?" She nodded as tears kept running down her face I let her go and took a towel and covered her body "Go get a shower, may kukunin lang ako sa bahay and I'll be back, okay?" "Okay.." I ran to my house and changed into more comfortable clothes then took things I needed. I went back to Julie's house and set things up in her balcony. I was done when I heard Julie's bathroom door open "Ano yan?" She asked "Movie theatre" "Ha?" "Manonood tayo ng movies hanggang you feel better, took the projector sa bahay" I told her while I grinned widely She sat next to me and brushed my hair away from my face "Thank you" she sincerely said "You're welcome, here" "Hm?" "Day 15"

She read the note quietly, smiled, then hugged me "Thanks for not taking advantage" I made her look me into the eyes as I finally spoke "Jules, not every guy is like him. I love you. And a big part of that is respecting you and your choices. I will never force you. I will always support you. And one day, I will marry you" I saw tears dripping down her face "Bakit umiiyak ka na naman? Akala ko okay ka na?" "Yeah I'm okay" "Then why are you crying?" "Because I'm happy I have you" I smiled at her and wiped her tears, we laid down on bean bags as we watch the movies. We were on our third movie when Julie spoke again "Moe" "Hm?" "Day 14" she said while just looking at me "It's okay, you can always bawi tomorrow" She hugged me and handed me her film

"I will never forget this day" she said I looked at her and smiled "I will never forget everyday with you" She stared at me for a little while then moved closer, she closed her eyes and gave me a soft kiss on the lips "Thank you, for being you" she simply said and hugged me tighter
