once you finished eating, you decided to clean up the mess clay made, and started by doing some dishes. washing dishes was never a chore you enjoyed doing in the slightest, however it was something that somehow always needed to be done.

as you finished drying the clean dishes and putting them away, your phone buzzed from the kitchen island behind you.

you smiled, and quickly headed upstairs to brush your teeth and watch his stream. after 10 minutes of watching from your phone, you switched over to your laptop to do some schoolwork as it played in the background. every now and again you would hear your brother scream at George or Sapnap from his room, and then hear it moments later on your phone due to stream delay.

oh my god he's loud. you thought to yourself as you finished completing your math homework. you closed out of clays stream and sat down on your bed to pet patches.

from Clays room to yours, you kept hearing him say the name Tommy while laughing hysterically. curiosity inevitably got the best of you, and you pulled clays stream up once again to see him referring to a kid called TommyInnit.

after watching a few more minutes, you decided tommy was actually pretty funny. you remembered clay telling you a that few weeks ago, he added a few boys that were your age. but you didn't think anything of it.

after careful consideration, you decided to log onto the smp.

just for a few minutes, you repeated aloud.

after entering the ip adress, you watched yourself load into the world and spawn in a cobblestone box. after a moment, you heard your brother cheering from his room.

"i cant believe she actually logged in!" he followed up with some laughter. you still had his stream up on your phone, so you heard george and sapnaps confusion. it was understandable after all, your minecraft username was created in 2014. you typed in the in-game chat,

<Sapnap> why hello y/n
<TommyInnit> WOMAN?!
Dream left the game.

you scoffed at your brother. of course he would leave you with strangers. you also couldn't help but notice tommy's strange response.

you whisper to GeorgeNotFound: who is this Tommy guy and why did he say "woman" when i logged on?

GeorgeNotFound whispered to you: he's a British child. ignore him. he's intimidated by females.

you hummed to yourself as someone else logged into the smp.

Tubbo joined the game.

you couldn't help but laugh. you've seen "defo flerting" on twitter a few times, but you never connected it back to this tubbo guy.

as you slowly explored the server, Clay pops into your room. he finished streaming awhile ago.

"so, you finally joined the server. how is it?" he asked, dragging out the "o" in so.

"it's alright so far, i wish you would've given me a tour or something though."

"sorry, but touring isn't my thing. ask tommy or tubbo to give you one."

"but i don't even know them," you said, turning around in your chair to face clay.

"well isn't that why you downloaded discord?" clay said before he left your room, closing the door behind him.
