Sunghee's Point of View

Once again I found myself in the girls' bathroom, looking at my reflection in the mirror in frustration. Despite my persistent nightmares, I had been able to make up for the lack of sleep, finally being in my right mind again.
Even though the nights were still a pain in the ass, I did my best to think positively while hoping that things would turn better soon.
It can't go downhill forever.

Sighing, I turned my eyes away from my image and finally left the empty room, just about to go back to my own school club.
As the universe usually did though, it had to throw another stone right in my path, making me believe that the brunette was the one who was about to ruin my day. Oh boy was I wrong.

"Long time no see, captain," Donghyuck's surprisingly cheerful voice suddenly sounded and for a split second I wondered, whether he knew I was in the bathroom or he actually met me by coincidence.

"Oh no," it left my lips in that very second, my heart jumping a little as I saw the older boy approaching with a slight grin.

I unconciously took a deep breath in before I quickly turned on my heels and walked towards the opposite direction.

I was well aware of the fact that I couldn't escape from the boy or get rid of him, since on the one hand he was really persistent and on the other he was part of the boxing club.
Despite this, I still had the wish to spend my school break as Donghyuck-free as possible, which is exactly why I  had shovelled the food in the canteen into my mouth as if I was starving.

Unfortunately this didn't change anything either, fate once again leaving me to deal with the strange student.
In the meantime, I tried not to remember the evening at the movie theater since the mere thought of it caused a slightly pink color to appear on my cheeks.
I'd rather get shot than blush in front of him again.

"How'd you sleep?" the brunette asked me after he finally caught up with me, now walking beside me, but slowing down his own pace in order to match mine.

You could clearly see that this little game of cat and mouse brought him joy, showing that he could easily carry on with it without losing his cool.

"To be honest horrible and you're not really helping the situation," I sighed in frustration and held my gaze straight forward so that I couldn't look at the handsome boy right next to me.

I knew that I couldn't take my eyes off of him once I looked at him and that's exactly why I was annoyed at myself.
Not long ago I would have glared at Donghyuck with a deadly and sinister expression in my eyes, but now I was trying to avoid his gaze in order not to blush embarrassingly.

What happened to you, Sunghee?

"Well that's unlucky, anyways. What are you dressing up as on Friday?"

"Friday?"

"The Halloween party of Chenle's friend."

Understandingly I nodded and remembered the conversation when Renjun had invited us. I hadn't been playing with the idea of going since the beginning and after the conversation with Jeno the other day, I thought it would be even better to just stay at home an rewatch avatar instead.
