OUT THE WINDOW
Out the window she stares,
A whole new world to find.
I wond what's in her eager mind
As it lifts beyond the airs.
Outside sway the verdant trees
Dancing to some sacred tune;
And to see them tiring soon
From their many reveries.
To her the zephyr lilts a song
As a jolly, lovesick swain;
To his ode ebbs the searing pain
That she has treasured for so long.
She gazed there and began to weave
Outside the window her little dreams;
A mosaic of thoughts that seems
The times behind can never leave.
