A/N: first of all, before the poem, I'd like to thank all those who continue reading my works and appreciating them. And so, as a token of gratitude, here is Those Who Branch Out
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THOSE WHO BRANCH OUT
There are rules and conventions,
Hundreds of dogmas and creeds,
But the one who stands out from the rest
Is he who never heeds.
Far from the trail worn-out
A new path he could make;
For there's more about this world
For those who rules forsake.
We curse them as heretics only
Because they he narrowness perceive;
Only because they sieve the truth
From the lies that we believe.
We sealed their doom to the hands of Hell
And at their beliefs we look with haughty eyes,
While we thwart the creeds that we uphold
And rest forever in its lies.
