The two girls woke up cuddling in the morning, startled by Sterling's alarm. Neither of the girls moved, they didn't want to. Their hearts were dancing to the same rhythm.
Sterling turned round to face April "I miss your hair" she whispered. April blushed and let out a small giggle. "I miss your smell" she replied, her heart beating rapidly. They focused on each others eyes before lowering their focus to each others lips. April put her hand on Sterlings face, she tried to calm her breathing but it was pointless. Their heads tilted and their lips met. April ran her thumb down Sterling's cheek. 'Please make this last forever' she thought.
"We should talk" Sterling announced cutting their kiss short. Both out of breath lay longing for eachother.
"About what?" April asked sitting up,
"Well for starters you're with my ex" -S
"You arrested my dad" -A
"Fair enough, I deserved it" -S
"I broke up with Luke 2 days ago" -A
"Oh I'm sorry, are you okay?" -S
"I'm fine, I should've done it ages ago" -A
"I'm sorry for not telling you about me and Blair arresting your dad" -S
"You had to do what you had to do" "And I'm sorry for dating Luke, it was wrong of me to do that" -A
"It hurt at first but I understand why you did it" -S
They sat in silence for a while both wondering who was going to be the next to speak.
"I hope this isn't too intrusive but what were you upset about yesterday?' -S
April sighed "I came out to my dad. He looked disappointing and told me he needed to be alone. I haven't received a message or phone call from him yet" -A
"Oh April I'm so sorry. I'm glad you came out though" -S
"Enough about my dad you still have to tell me about your bounty hunting thing" -A
April listened as Sterling explained everything, with a smile on her face, from how they met Bowser, to arresting her dad, helping Bowser with other skips and Sterling getting kidnapped by the Dana.
By the time they were done they'd already been late for their first class. "I like sleeping next to you" Sterling declared getting up. "Me too" April replied grinning.
