The Romanoffs

Chapter 40.

"Ummm.....erm...." Jillian squeezes my hand terrified of what the next moment will bring.

"Ok ok. I guess it's time to confess things." A look at both men who have completely different facial expressions.

Aleksander looks completely terrified by what he may hear, like he may shit his fucking pants. But Nadei, my Nadei, he's clearly terrified but there's a little light in his eyes.

A light I'm sad will fade soon.

"So. The reason we took so long to come home is that Jill and I-"

"IM PREGNANT!" Jillian blurts out cutting me off. "I'm sorry I just needed to fucking say it already. Nicky took me out to do some shopping after I called her panicking."

"How—HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!" Aleksander clutched his chest as in disbelief and somewhat anger. Jillian release my hand and stands up to match Ale's angry position.

"I have a fucking human being inside of me Ale it's too late to explain the birds & bees to you right now asshole!" She points to her belly to which Ale looks on still in disbelief.

"WE ALWAYS USE PROTECTION!"

"Oh yeah well remember about two months ago before a mission you wanted a quick fuck and said 'fuck a rubber' well congratulations you're a daddy now!"

"I need to sit down" Aleksander throws himself back on the couch while Jill just rolls her eyes sitting back down.

I look to Nadei who lets out a soft sigh of sadness, a part of him clearly wished it was me who was pregnant. I don't know if I'm ready for that, I don't know if we're ready for that. But I know I want a family with this man, I know I wouldn't want anyone else as the father to my children. I get up and pull him into a tight hug, laying my head on his chest.

"I'm sorry amor," I whisper as he squeezes me slightly.

"Angel as long as I have you in my life I'm complete."

"Holy shit I'm going to be an uncle!" Franco excitedly shaking Gerald who laughs.

"Congratulations Jillian."

"Oh god, I'm going to be an uncle?" Nikolai, being Nikolai doesn't look as amused by the idea of a little Romanoff run around these halls.

"HOLY FUCK FATHERS GOING TO BE A GRANDPA!" Franco bursts out laughing.

"Ooh ooh, I want to be there when you tell him!" I excitedly perk up. The thought of Viktor finding out he will be a grandpa makes me fucking laugh. He's still in the idea of being a hot silver fox, I can't imagine he's ready to change dirty diapers all over again.

As I look over to Jillian and Aleksander, the realization finally comes over Ale. As he's on his knees softly kissing Jillian's belly who is running her fingers through his hair.

"Congratulations nephew, I'm happy to see the third generation of Romanoffs."

"I can't wait to go shopping!"

"Holy fuck I'm going to be a dad." Aleksander still in complete shock at the thought, who would've known how lives would change so quickly in less than a year.

Later that day

For the last couple of hours, Nadei has been in his office, I know he's not working because I don't hear him on the phone or typing on his computer. I think the idea of Aleksander becoming a father has really gotten to him.

"Nadei?" I softly knock peaking my head into his office.

He's sitting at his desk just looking through a photo album, it's the strangest thing I have ever seen. Nadei is so closed off from his past he's never looked at old photos before. At least not while I'm around. He doesn't respond or look up, he just waves for me to come in.
