"Finally she's getting out of this sad place today" Jillian lays out clothes for Betty currently showering.

"Ugh, and I hate to admit it but it will be good to have Nikolai back home. I miss bothering the brat"

"So where's she going from here?"

"I don't know honestly" I look over my shoulder to the 3 men in the hall. "Do you think she can stay with us? At least until she's on her feet?"

"Babe you talked Nadei into letting me move in after meeting me ONCE. Pretty sure you can convince him of anything"

We both crack a laugh as the bathroom door opens.

"Thanks, guys I really needed that shower and the new clothes. I'm sick of wearing a hospital gown"

"No problem girl......hey so I was wondering. What are your plans after this? Like where are you going to stay? Work?"

Jillian gently nudges me before I get carried away harassing her.

"I honestly don't know I mean I don't think I can go back to my family right now after everything happened. Maybe I'll just stay at a-"

"Great do you'll stay with us then!"

Betty looks at me with a raised brow and Jillian just laughs.

"Yeah she does that but hey it's a great place and has an indoor pool!"

"Well don't twist my arm I'm in! But—what about Nadei? Do you think?"

"Leave grumpy to me now you ladies finish packing I'll be outside"

I close the door behind me and there's Gerald again, staring at the gorgeous doctor.

"Will you go talk to her already!"

"Malishka mind your business" he huffs under his breath before turning and walking away. Poor naive Gerald, I'm definitely not letting this one go.

I roll my eyes and walk straight up to the doctor.

"Hey there Doc we're about ready to head out with Betty soon."

"Oh...Nicole sorry I didn't see you there. Well, how's the patient doing?"

"She's great seems back to normal now and walking around fine"

"Perfect remember no hard work, psychical labor to a minimum, no drinking while on the meds"

"Blah blah blah" she lets out an annoyed sigh and rolls her eyes. "So are you busy Friday? I was thinking maybe you can come over for a nice dinner ...you know so we can say thank you"

"Um, I don't usually socialize with my patients?"

"Doc....do you think I'll take no for an answer?" I cross my arms and put on an innocent smile.

"Of course not Nicole. How about 7:30?"

"Perfect I'll send a car"

"Yay," she sarcastically mumbles walking away.

"I know what you're doing kroshka" Aleksander whispers behind me.

"Oh hush your face Ale and let me work my magic"

"He's going to kill you"

"Gerald loves me. He'll thank me later"

"Let's get moving little one before you start planning a wedding"
