ricky walked into the cafeteria and saw carlos and everly sitting at a table by themselves. a huge smile escaped from everly's lips and she started to call ricky over, "ricky! ricky! come sit with us!"
ricky quickly looked away from everly and saw nini sitting at the other end of the cafeteria. the boy gave one last look to everly and carlos before rushing over to nini's side.
"hey," ricky breathed out and sat down next to nini, "i've been trying to reach you, but you haven't answered or anything."
nini kept her eyes glued to her book and didn't say a word to ricky. the boy let out a frustrated sigh and scooted closer to the girl, "nini.. im trying here."
he waited for a response but nini still didn't answer, "okay nini.. im sorry. what if i told you that i miss hanging out with you? that i miss us."
"then i'd tell you that it's bull."
"which part?"
"all of it," nini said in a stern voice and shut her book. she quickly put it in her backpack and got up from the table. ricky followed her actions and chased her out of the school.
"nini! nini" ricky yelled chasing her outside, "nini! i like you alright?"
"no, you don't ricky," nini said and finally turned around to face him, "you don't know anything, alright?"
