The Date

Raila made her way back to the apartment and slammed the door.
"Imma kick your ass." Raila said walking to Lana
"For what?"
"You treated Andrés like shit and then you treated me like I was a child." She walked over to Lana and hit her in her arm. Lana rubbed her arm and hopped off the barstool. "Me and Andrés are going on a date tonight so don't wait up. " Lana raised her eyebrow and shut the fridge
"You need to send me your location. You're not about to have me stressed out putting up missing posters around town again."Raila rolled her eyes
"Yes mother. Now I'm gonna go get ready."
Andrés house
"So you told her that y'all date and she actually believed that shit? Haha that bitch is clueless." Andrés drew his gun and shot the bottle on the side of Mikey
"Don't talk about Raila like that again." Andrés said holstering his gun and sitting down. "She's been through a lot and honestly it's best if she didn't remember what her and I went through. "
"You have feelings for her don't you?" Mikey asked sweeping the excess glass onto the floor. Andrés didn't answer he just tensed up and stared at the desk.
"You do have feelings for her. You have that same look you had when Maris-"
"Don't finish that name unless you want a bullet through your throat." Marisol was the name Mikey wanted to say. She was Andrés's ex;she broke his heart into a million pieces when she left him. After that day he vowed to never fall in love again.
"I'm sorry man. I guess I am just surprised. You would think most men would be irritated by her antics and want to run for the hills but hey you have a type."
"Something about her laying in that hospital bed did something to me. I was scared about losing her. I've only known this girl what a week or so and everyday of that week she's attempted or successfully driven me crazy but I don't know." Andrés said buttoning up his shirt.
"What's gonna happen if she gets her memory back? She's gonna remember that night in the alley, the kidnapping, everything." Mikey said standing up walking towards the door
"I honestly don't know. It would be nice to say that there'll be a plan but how do you prepare for something like that, you know." Andrés and Mikey walked out the door leaving in their separate cars.Driving to Raila's house he arrived 45 minutes later and knocked on the apartment door. He was met by an eager Raila
"Hi" she said smiling. Andrés couldn't speak she had on a basic outfit but to him she looked drop dead gorgeous.

"Andrés,hun are you ok?" She asked pulling on his hand.
"Couldn't be better." He smiled and took her hand in his.
