police arrive, investigate the crime, question parents, neighbors even Marta and tell them she saw nothing...she looks at her parents as they are worried about the life of their child and at the same time she does not want to put their lives in danger as jack said and as she is a mother so she knows the feeling of the mother and she does not want to go back to the past...
Martha P O V :
"I have to tell the truth but I can't after what happened 20 years ago"
she looks into her mother's eyes before leaving after a few glances answered him :
"I'm really sorry"
