Me and van unpacked our suitcases and Mary offered to wash my clothes, which I was grateful for. We were in Wales for a week then we would start the uk tour next Monday, I would be wearing the same outfits I had packed for Australia but luckily the weather was alright in the uk and we were indoors most of the time. We took our empty suitcases upstairs to keep out of the way for the week and I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and van followed
"You don't know how much ive wanted to properly brush my teeth" I laughed
"trust me I know, im the same" van laughed back as we walked to his room
I flopped down on his bed and rubbed my eyes
"fancy going to get shopping for my mum and dad?" van asked sitting next to me
"yeah, I fancy some chocolate milk too"
"your bloody chocolate milk man" he laughed and pulled me up
We walked downstairs and van picked up a bit of paper off the table
"I noticed the shopping list, we will go for you mum" van said holdignthe bit of paper up
"oh well if you don't mind, take my card, pay for it on that and get anything else you fancy"
"no its fine, ill pay for it" van laughed
"van!" Mary laughed back "take my card"
"bye mum" he laughed and grabbed his keys and phone before we walked out of the house
"my grandma is the same"
"its annoying isn't it!" he laughed getting into the car
I plugged my phone into his car and opened Spotify, i clicked on his playlist and shuffled it, playing feel good inc- gorillaz
We sang along anddanced around
"the laughs used to proper scare me"
"what really?" van laughed
"yes, they are quite scary"
he shook his head and laughed, Arabella- arctic monkeys came on next and I gasped
"ive not heard this song in ages"
"its a good song" van said
Asking if I can have one of those
Organic cigarettes that she smokes
Wraps her lips round the Mexican coke
Makes you wish that you were the bottle
"Have you had organic cigarettes Alice?" van laughed
"nah can't say I have" I paused and looked at him smiling "have you ever wanted to be a bottle van?" I laughed
he looked at me smirking then looked back at the road
"no comment" he laughed
I hummed in agreement and laughed. we pulled up outside the supermarket and grabbed a trolley before heading inside. we walked the aisles getting what we needed off the list and I picked up some chocolate milk.
"what do you fancy for dinner tonight?" van asked
"hmmm something with vegetables" I laughed "ive missed them"
"yeah I agree. a Sunday roast? but on a monday?" he laughed
"yeah okay" I laughed back
He texted his mum to see if they're fine with that, which they were, so we got everything we needed and made our way to the checkout. We got back to the car and loaded the shopping in, I plugged in my phone again and clicked on my Spotify playlist. Into the night- blaenavon came on and I started bobbing my head and singing
