Once we got back to their apartment my first concern was putting the flowers in water. It was no surprise the lads didn't have a vase so I had to use two glasses. My focus changed to getting a drink in my hand and Maddie passed me a vodka and coke. We all sat in the living area and chatted. It was nice and reminded me of the first time we all met. 2 hours later and 7 drinks in I was feeling tipsy. I waltzed into the kitchen and van followed

"You're gonna fall over" he laughed

"Nah I'm not" I giggled back at him pouring some vodka

Van looked at me then looked at the glass, and looked back at me still pouring the alcohol and added a little bit of coke

"You may as well just do 10 shots of it" Van laughed and gave me a hug

We walked outside and sat down with everyone else and bondy offered van a cigarette and he declined

"What?" I looked at him

"Didn't fancy one, I smoke too much anyways"

"Shut up Van is this because I said I didn't like it" I laughed

"Nah I just need to stop having so many" he laughed back

Van went back inside to get another drink and shimmied back to the door making me laugh so loud

"What was that" Larry laughed

"Alice laughing" daisy laughed back

We all started laughing and no one could get a word in. It was coming close to 3am and we knew we had to keep the noise down for the neighbours.

"I'm feeling like I'm going to fall asleep" Larry said closing his eyes

"Can't handle it mate" bondy laughed

"I'm gonna head to bed" Larry said standing and wobbling side to side

"I think I'm gonna do the same to be honest" daisy said before standing up

"Well why don't you take my bed and I'll sleep on the sofa" benji offered

"Are you sure?" Daisy replied

"Yeah yeah go for it"

"Thank you, goodnight" daisy said before walking inside past Maddie who was asleep on the chair in the corner

"It is late I think I'll do the same, night" Bob said walking inside

"Aye I will do after this ciggy" bondy said

"Aye me too" benji

"It's always me and Alice who are the last ones up" van laughed

And they laughed back before saying goodnight and walking inside. It was just me and van and I moved over to the sofa where I leaned against him drinking from my straw

"I don't think I asked you how today went, did you sort the song out?"

"Sort of, the music is done just a few lyrics I'm going to change. I'm going to go to the studio Tomorrow afternoon and record it"

"Then it's 4 days till the albums out"

"Yeah" he said smiling

"I'm so proud of you Van"

"I'm so proud of you too, tonight you were amazing Alice"

"Thank you" I said cuddling more into him

We lay still for a few minutes watching the sun start to rise.

"I think we should go to sleep, come on" I stood up holding my hand out to pull him up.

We tip toed inside past Maddie and benji asleep and put our cups on the counter before walking to vans room. I put on the joggers I left on his bed and climbed in.

"You really can't dance you know, but your shimmying makes me laugh so much"

"I know that your laugh is so funny"

"I hate it" I said giggling quietly and rolling over to face away from him, closing my eyes

"I love it" he said said leaning over and picking up his notebook and started scribbling

"Are you writing song lyrics down?" I mumbled now half asleep

"Yeah, I just had an idea and I'm drunk so if I don't write it down I'll forget it" he laughed before putting it down and turning over to rub his hand through my hair

"Goodnight"

I woke up and noticed van wasn't there, I made my way to the living area and said good morning to everyone. I looked at the clock and it was 10:30am. I noticed van was sat on the balcony playing the guitar with bondy. I walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water and noticed larry was lying down on the sofa. I walked over to him and lifted his legs up to sit at the end of the sofa.

"Hungover?" I laughed

"Shut up, don't speak about it" he sighed with his eyes closed

I laughed and said hi to van and bondy as they walked in. We all got ready, me Maddie and daisy has the same clothes on from yesterday, and walked towards the tube. I was going to the studio with the lads and Maddie was going home and daisy was going to get food shopping. We said goodbye and I got on the tube with the lads. They were going to record the last song at the Maida Vale. It was a cozy studio and the lads started recording as soon as we got there as they wanted to get the album done asap.

The guitar started and bob came in

It gets difficult to talk when you nearly deafen me 'cause you start laughing

If it means that we get through

And though you'll mix up every detail of every story that you're ever gonna tell me

If it means that we get through

Y'know, I never wanna trouble you when you're working so I always try to wait

If it means that we get through

And when we drink it just gets funnier and to be honest, I don't mind us drunk

If it means that we get through

I won't smoke if you don't no more

'Cause I know you hate the taste of it

I don't wanna picture our firstborn

If you've stopped discussing names with me

But if it means that we get through, then you know I'm up for anything

I sat watching and listening, I felt myself reacting the same was as when van played Heathrow for me. Was it about me? Deafening laugh? I get sidetracked and forget what I'm saying when I tell stories, when I was working away he didn't want to bother me, we always have meaningful talks when we were drunk, the smoking, the kids. This is everything about us.

They finished recording and came out of the recording booth.

"First time and it's done" he said smiling

"Van is this another Heathrow situation?" I smiled back

He pulled me into a hug "yeah"

"I love it, but you can smoke if you want" I laughed

He shook his head and laughed. A little over 2 hours later The producers worked their magic and the album was finished and finalised. We all left the studio and went to grab dinner in a cafe nearby. In a few days the album will be out and a few weeks later I'll be packing my life up to go on tour. It was going so fast but I wouldn't change it.
