"Hello!" My grandma squealed pulling me into a hug

"I've missed you" I said back "hi Granda" I said now giving him a hug

"Hello van" my granma said as he reached down to give her a hug

"Hello..."

"Rose"

"Hello Rose" he said smiling

"Brian" my Granda said as he gave Van a hug

"Thank you for having me" van said

"Oh it's no bother, always welcome" my grandma said

I stood smiling to myself. It was just like how it was back in Llandudno with vans parents, only this time me and van had switched places. I took all my boxes of clothes and my suitcase full of clothes into the kitchen, and left the boxes of everything else at the bottom of the stairs so I could put them in my room.

"I'll sort out your laundry, sort out your room if you want" my grandma said

"Okay" I nodded and Van helped me take my boxes upstairs.

I put all the boxes on the floor and started to unpack. I put my record player on my dresser and stacked up my records on the floor, van unpacked a box full of toiletries and makeup and put them on my bed for me to put away.

"Your grandparents are lovely" Van said turning to face me

"Thank you, I know" I laughed

20 minutes later and all the boxes were unpacked and my room was sorted. I unzipped vans suitcase and gave my grandma the clothes he didn't wash.

"Thank you for this" van said

"Oh don't worry about it" she smiled at him

"What do you fancy for dinner" my Granda said walking in

"We will sort something out" I said "how about... spaghetti bolognese?"

"Yeah okay" my grandma smiled

"Yeah that sounds good" my Granda responded

Me and van started to prepare the food and chatted to my Grandparents in the process. They were asking about his music and also asking how my tour was. They got along so well and I could tell they liked van.

It was now 11pm and we were all sat in the living area. We had spent the afternoon talking and it was good to be home

"I'm going to head up to bed" my Granda stated as he stood up

"Yeah I think I will as well" my grandma said

"Goodnight" me and van both said

"Do you fancy doing something?" I asked van

"Like what?"

"Could go to the beach, go on a drive down the coast?" I suggested "I'm insured on my grandads car and use it when I'm home

"Yeah sounds good" he smiled

We put our shoes on, grabbed my phone and keys and locked the door behind us. I started the car and pulled out of the drive. The car had a similar sound system to the one in vans so he connected his phone and started flicking through his playlists

"It's like we've switched" he laughed and I laughed back at him

He shuffled his playlist and ize of the world- the strokes started to play

We bobbed our heads and sang along. I drove the long way round to get to the coast and I could see van taking in everything around him. After 25 minutes we were driving down the coast road. Now listening to the national, still bobbing our heads and singing along
