Are you gonna walk away from me again?
I try approaching you but you seem so far away
Imagining your smile, so faint
I can’t find the words I’m dying to say
Days and weeks had passed
Yet we don’t utter a word
Somehow time went by fast
Can’t believe how things have turned
My head’s drowning in your memories
Your smile, your laugh, your voice, your touch,
Everything feels surreal
Then I’d ask myself, “Could I ever get enough?”
Listening to music, picturing your face
Never thought I’ll be drawn to you like this
Please don’t ever leave without any trace
Hope you know that by me, you’ll be missed
This poem doesn’t have sense, I know
I just want to let my feelings show
After reading this, you may think I’m low
I just couldn’t let my feelings overflow
They may get lost in the dark,
And leave marks of scars
I know I’ll never regret
Loving you for who you are
