back to y/n's pov i cant believe im actually going to take nick austin somewhere. AHHHH. anyway, he just ordered an uber so i had about 10 mins to think of somewhere to go. i had the perfect spot. on the first day i was in la, i couldn't sleep so i got an uber to the hollywood sign. i hiked up and found a spot right under the y. there was a a small patch of grass and a couple rocks i could hide some blankets and lights. it was perfect. by the time i finished thinking, the uber was already here.
nick: hey y/n! the uber's here!
y/n: ok just let me grab a jumper! i yelled from upstairs
nick: ok i'll see you down here i grabbed a jumper and this is what i was wearing

i didn't wanna dress up to much since we were going to walk a lot. i practically ran downstairs and into the uber. i got in and i was trying to catch my breath nick laughed
nick: haha did you really run down here

y/n: what i can't be excited to spend some time with my new bestie we both laughed and kept talking the whole ride when we got there nick was so confused

nick: this! he ran towards me and i screamed and ran towards the spot. he kept chasing me until i got too tired and i slowed down. he picked me up and we laughed for at least 10 minutes. i grabbed his hand and took him to the place under the y. we sat and talked for hours

nick: damn ok. ummm oh i know. there was this one time in 7th grade, i had a crush on this girl and so i went up to her to ask her out. she said yes
y/n: what that's not even bad
nick: you didn't let me finish! anyway, she said yes and i guess she did it as a prank. cause i got all dressed up and i wouldn't tell anyone where i was going and then when i got to the restaurant, with flowers as well, i sat on the curb waiting for 3 hours. and then i walked home, IN THE RAIN, and went straight to my room and never spoke of it again
y/n: awww that's so sad! if you came up to me in 7th grade instead of the guy who did, we'd definitely still be together ahah
nick: but that's not even the best part
y/n: nooooooo... did she? no she didnt.
nick: when i got tiktok famous. that girl had the NERVE to dm me and ask me out on a date

y/n: ugh fine. but you asked for it. ok, so in 7th grade i was just starting what we call high school in australia. there was this real cute boy in my class named thomas and i guess he liked me. he texted me and asked me out and i said yes because.. duh. but anyway, we started dating but literally nothing happened. like we sat next to eachother and held hands but it was sooooo awkward haha. like he wouldn't y'all to me unless i started the conversation.
nick: damn that's a bad boyfriend
y/n: ya i know. but here's the thing. i dated him for 2 years
nick: WHAT. HOW
y/n: idk i felt bad because i didn't wanna hurt him. we said we loved eachother lol
nick: yeah but that's kinda cruel
y/n: I KNOW. the saddest part is we were in the same group of friends
nick: y/nnnnn that's sooo not cool

we laughed and kept telling eachother secrets. it was super late when we checked the time so we decided to stay there for the night. we had made a 'bed' out of some blankets and we got as comfortable as we could. it was kinda cold and i was shivering a bit. nick noticed and wrapped his arms around me.
nick: is that ok?
y/n: perfect i smiled and rolled over so i was facing him. he fell asleep before me and i just admired his perfect features. my eyes became heavy and i started to drift off
