Once was a free bird

She tried too hard to squeeze into their puzzle
Though her own unique set had scrambled pieces,
Bounded by the ersatz forces
She seemed too simple for one to acknowledge

Contorted her way into the piece that could fit into the conventional notions
Some fresh torn ligaments and erased ambitions

Once she was free
She was limitless
Alas! Radioactivity depleted her senses.....
