Antonio's POV

I finished tidying up the room and I made my way to the living room when I heard Ellie call for me.

Wow Antonio already responding to that name.
I shook my head, I knelt down to her level before asking her"What is it princess?"
Then she happily told me that the turtle peeked its head out.
I smiled, is this how it feels to have a child?
"That's amazing. Why did it come out?" I questioned then she told me that her mother said that it comes out when its ready.
But I was confused.
I mean I think it had a deeper meaning so I asked her what she meant and she said that it comes out when it doesn't feel any harm towards it.
I was thrilled that she was talking more casually with me now.
But I heard her give a long sigh.
"princess what's wrong?" I asked.

"Mama said that I was her turtle.. But I don't think I'll ever come out my shell" she explains.
I slightly frowned.
Did she not feel safe around me? Does she not feel safe being somewhere unfamiliar?
"Why would you say that? Do you not feel safe around me?" I finally asked giving her a little time to think.
Then she said denied it and said that her appearance is what she meant. I gave her pat on the head.
"That's alright you'll forever me my baby girl then" I said which a big smile spread on her face.
I made breakfast considering it was only 6:30 in the morning now.

I told her that she should get some more rest but she was determined to start the day out early like me.

"Then would you like to help me make breakfast?" she nodded eagerly.
I put her on a stepstool.
I stood behind her to make sure she didn't fall.
"Alright now gently mix the ingredients together" I said.
We were going to make Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins.
She attempted to mix them together but with her weak body she failed.
I put my hand onto hers.
"That's good" I said as I helped her mix.
I moved and grabbed a cupcake pan.

"Let's put these in here" I said getting the muffin wrapper out.

She took them and carefully put them into the little compartments.

About 35 minutes later.
Ding.

"be careful it's hot" I warned as I pulled the tray out of the oven and set it on the electronic stove top.

"It smells good" she says as she whiffs the muffins.
"We have to wait for awhile to let it cool down" I said.

"Do you want to go exercise with daddy?" I asked taking off my apron.
Ellie nodded.
"Alright let's go to the workout room" I said as I guided her to the next room.
"Woah" she gasped.

I smiled at her amazement.

"This is a treadmill. You can make it go any speed you want" I said.
"Really?" she asks.

I nodded.

Then she made her way on to the treadmill.

"I'll help assist you okay?" I said I turned the treadmill on and put it at the slowest speed possible.

Which was 3 mph.

I stood on the treadmill and I gestured Ellie to come up.
Which she took a step.
I placed her in front of me.
Her head was above my knees a bit she grew in the last 2 days it seemed.
She was getting the hang of it.
"Ready to go a little faster?" I asked.

"Yes that was really easy" she proudly said.

I forget that she had been running for most of her life probably.
I bumped it up to 8 mph.
She definitely accelerated to 15 mph.
I finished my semi running exercise.
Then I moved onto the matting I would begin my core exercises.
"You see you do this" I demonstrated. Then Ellie sat on her bum and balanced her legs as she twisted her body to the side.
so we began to do the russian twist.
After 30 minutes of exercising with Ellie.
It was about 7:35.

"Lets eat our breakfast" I said and I helped Ellie stand up.

She skipped to the kitchen and waited till I made it.

"You may grab a muffin" I said then she quickly grabbed one and bit into it.

She was satisfied.

I probably should take a shower now considering I wasn't able to last night.

"Ellie I've got to get washed up okay? You can turn the telly on go to channel 15" I said.

She nodded and went to the living room.

I took a muffin and ate it then I threw the wrapper away.

Shortly afterwards I made it to my bedroom.

I walked into my bathroom. I turned the shower on.

Who knew that taking care of a child is more exhausting than having 20 of your executives partners give you headaches.

But the exhaustion was a good one.

Ellie has began to speak more confidently she has her moments but that's normal.

We would go to the finest stores to buy her the finest things in life.

Then my mobile went off.

"Alexa accept" I said.

I had installed alexa in my bathroom for reasons like this.

"What is it" I said annoyed.

"You've got a business social event on this upcoming friday" Joseph said.

"May I ask why you needed to call me? When you could clearly just text me it" I gritted.

"I'm sorry boss. It just last time you told me to call you" Joseph says.

"That's when if it's like a emergency. Very Urgent" I said.

"Right. But You have to show up to secure the contract" Joseph reminded.

"Yes of course" I said and told Alexa to hang up.

After my interrupted shower I turned the water off.

I stepped onto my bath rug and I dried my hair and since Ellie is around I wrapped a towel around me just in case something bad happened or if Ellie needed me.

I combed my hair and fixed it into my normal business hairstyle.

I went into my bedroom and walked into my closet to grab a black and white flannel.

I put on a regular adidas sneakers. Shopping is very casual.

I should call a interior designer after the adoption papers are settled.

I put on my watch.

I stepped out of my bedroom and found Ellie was nicely dressed.

She was wearing a cute pink and magenta floral dress.

"Ellie you look beautiful" I said.

My angel was outshining me.

It was now 8 in the morning.

We've accomplished a lot of stuff under 3 hours.
