Atsumu X Hinata

It was a warm summer morning, the sun was freshly out and the air around the park felt damp. The trees surrounding the paths and courts giving off an earthy smell and the light from the sun was shinning gold and green. Hinata loved taking a daily morning jog during summer, he could wear a simple tank top and shorts and the weather was perfect for it. 

For some reason this morning he decided to go for a long walk instead and took a bag with a few of his belongings, some food and -of course- a volleyball. I was around 10am when he was walking past the row of volleyball courts. They were all outdoors but separated by fences covered in weeds and vines. I could hear a ball bouncing and soft footsteps! He felt so excited and tried finding which court was occupied, in hopes of finding someone to play with, "maybe its a cute girl" he whispered to himself mischievously. 

As he peeked into a court he saw none other than Atsumu. His blood ran cold "He insulted my spikes! Like hell I will play with him!" He felt his face heat up in anger as he turned to stomp away. Just as he thought he would get away a volleyball hit him in the back of the head and he tripped onto the floor. He heard Atsumu chuckle and walk towards him but he didn't dare to look over his shoulder. 

"Did you think I couldn't hear you? Your heavy breathing as you walked by the courts was very distracting and annoying, it interrupted my practice... As you may know I take practice very seriously... and by what I've seen you do you should too," He would never admit that he was glad Hinata had not turned to look at him, he didn't know who it was at first but he sure was excited it was Hinata, it was evident in the lazy smile poking at his lips and the soft blush pinching at his cheeks. 

As Hinata heard those words anger built up inside him and he stood and turned to Atsumu, "Oh yeah? You think so?" Hinata questioned the taller male as he walked up to him pointing an accusing finger, "Well I'll let you know I can spike better that anyone you have ever met!" Hinata proudly announced, staring up at the condescending smile made his blood boil.

"Would you like to show me?" Atsumu asked suggestively.

"You wish you could play with me!" Hinata yelled as he picked up his belongings that had planted onto the ground along with him.

"I do wish so, will you?" Atsumu asked, his voice or tone never changing so Hinata had yet to catch on that this was not just volleyball talk anymore. 

"If you beg me then I might," Hinata sarcastically grumbled as he began to walk off.

"Then let me beg," Atsumu said as he grabbed Hinata's wrist and effortlessly spun him around to look back at him. 

"I was kidding, I would never play with you-"

"I can change that-"

"Plus you hit me with a volleyball before even saying hi! You're rude I don't play with rude people." Hinata said, but as he finished he remembered he does play with many rude people... but that was besides the point!

"Look I'm sorry I hit you, if i had known it was you I wouldn't have," Atsumu mumbled as he slowly and lightly caressed the back of Hinata's head, where he guessed the ball had hit.

"Whatever! Hey! Don't pet me like a dog!" Hinata slapped Atsumu's hand away.

"Fine, but please just play with me?" He leaned in closer to Hinata's face, almost stealing a kiss.

"Fine!" Hinara copied Atsumu's way of say fine,"I'll play, but only to prove that I'm much better than you think." Hinata butted his forehead against Atsumu's and Atsumu couldn't help but mentally face palm at Hinata's blindness to Atsumu's flirtling. 

As they begun Atsumu went all out and made it hard for Hinata to spike but after a while Hinata caught the hang of it. Although Hinata was very annoyed at Atsumu he couldn't help but laugh as he successfully spiked yet another toss. "In your face! I told you I'm the best!" Hinata raised his arms up and jumped around in victory with his eyes closed. Atsumu smirked as an idea popped in his mind, he slowly walked over to the victorious shorty and right when Hinata jumped Atsumu braced himself and swiftly caught the jumping boy. 

"I guess you are good." Atsumu lazily smiled. 

"What are you doing! Put me down!" Hinata protested, thinking Atsumu was simply making more fun of him.

"Do you still not understand what is happening?" Atsumu asked in amazement of the idiocy but Hinata just tilted his head in confusement. Atsumu sighed "Hinata, I like you."

"No you don't you said I'm the worst spiker!" Hinata accused as he once more tried to push himself off the taller male. 

"No you idiot, you took it too seriously... although somewhat true I still find you cute."

"That was not flirting." Hinata said, giving Atsumu's chest a push after every word. 

"I guess I'm bad at flirting just like you're a bad player... we are both bad," Atsumu smirked and whispered that last part as he tried leaning in for a kiss just for Hinata to move back. 

"I'm not gay!" Hinata yelled in a panic. 

"You are you just don't know it yet, jeez there's a lot for you to learn." 

"You wont get anywhere if you keep insulting me!" Hinata said as he rocked his body back and forth trying to get Atsumu to lose his balance, but he failed. 

"I might." Atsumu said and quickly placed his hand behind Hinata's neck and held him still and close to his face, "Can I?" Atsumu whispered right on Hinata's lips, making Hinata blush and the soft lips grazing past his lightly. 

"Maybe." Came a small pitched sound from Hinata and Atsumu smiled, closing the gap between their lips. Hinata was not sure why he let a boy kiss him and not just any boy but Atsumu! As his first kiss melted away into a warm smile and a soft look between both boys he realized... maybe her was gay... at least for Atsumu he was, and at the moment that was all that mattered. 

"I can't believe you never knew I was flirting... I'll never let you live that down." Atsumu chuckled. 

"Ugh I hate you." Hinata grumbled "Now kiss me again I don't want to hear your stupid comments." 

"If kissing me is your way of stopping my off-hand comments then I don't think I'll ever stop." Atsumu teased yet again as he kissed Hinata again. He knew Hinata had never kissed before because of the stiffness but he didn't feel like making more remarks for the moment so they sat down at a corner of the court and Hinata settled into Atsumu's arms.

"You are still rude and I don't wanna play with you ever again." Hinata dramatically stated before staring at Atsumu and smiling brightly, a giggle escaping past his lips. 

"I'm not rude, just honest." Atsumu defended himself while holding back a chuckle. 

"Whatever, no one asked." Hinata said as he shushed Atsumu by placing a finger to his lips. Atsumu smiled, closed his eyes and leaned his head back and shook his head at Hinata. "Hey, wait... does this mean... I'm your boyfriend now?"

"Do you want to be?" Atsumu peeked an eye open to see Hinata fidgeting and blushing.

"... Will you make fun of me if I say yes?" Hinata insecurely asked while looking away.

Atsumu though about teasing him but decided against it, Hinata was going through enough embarrassment at the moment, "Never about something like that, I'm not rude."

"Then yes." Hinata looked into Atsumu's eyes intensely. 

"Alright then you're mine." Atsumu stated and Hinata blushed deeply, inhaling deeply as if he was about to yell sometihng but Atsumu quickly caught his lips with his own and held onto Hinata tightly. "All mine" Atsumu whispered between the heated kiss.
