"Twilight darling, I understand the case but," Rarity was interrupted by her own yawn as she quickly continued "A mare must get her beauty sleep!" Rarity declared as she slowly closed her eyes, but was startled when the door swung open
"I brought cupcakes!" Pinkie Pie sung
"Sunset just wrote back to me! She said that she's with them and will keep them out of trouble." Twilight exclaimed as all of the girls, including Spike, sighed in relief
Twilight was about to speak when a certain Pinkie Pie slowly held out a variety of cupcakes of all sorts, from vanilla to even red velvet, and of course many different frosting colors such as, green, blue, purple, and of course, pink
"Cupcake?" Pinkie slyly asked with a grin on her face
Twilight nervously looked around the room but eventually sighed and took a purple frosted chocolate cupcake from Pinkie's tray and took a bite
"Wow Pinkie! These are amazing!" Twilight happily said, while munching on her delicious cupcake as Pinkie went around the room and when she eventually reached Applejacks chair she only sighed "I hope they come back soon..." Pinkie Pie frowned
"Don't worry Pinkie Pie, I'm sure they'll be done as fast as Angel bunny can finish a bowl of carrots!" Fluttershy whispered in her best attempt to cheer up her usually very bright and witty friend
"Anyways, we also have to prepare for a very, and I mean very important task that Princess Celestia has given to us." Twilight said, hoping to change the subject
"And that is darling...?" Rarity questioned the alicorn
"The Running of the Leaves! Twilight declared with a wide grin in her face
