So Much For Shopping {Chapter 8}

"Hey guys, I wish I could come but I have to start tutoring a certain Sunset Shimmer..." Sci-Twi said sighing as Sunset suddenly remembered "Oh right...! See you guys at the beach!" She said nervously as she walked to the library with Sci-Twi

"Y-yeah, I have soccer p-practice in like 30 minutes so I cant come either, meet you in a bit! It's not like I wanted to go shopping anyway..." EG Rainbow mumbled the last part still a little bit in shock about the new pieces of information they all had recently discovered

"Ah still have a lot of h-homework to do... so yeah... see ya'll later!" Applejack said as she walked down the hall towards her rusty old truck

"No matter, we are still going SHOPPING!" Rarity declared as Applejack and Rainbow groaned

"O-oh umm... R-Rarity..?" A soft voice from the back of the group asked

"Oh, yes darling?" The fashionista turned to face Fluttershy

"D-do you think w-we could s-stop by the a-animal shelter a-after sh-shopping?" Fluttershy asked each word getting more and more impossible to understand, one after the other

"Of course Fluttershy! I'll go get GUMMY!" The party girl said rushing to her locker getting her 'pet' gummy and immediately returning to the group sitting on the steps in the front of the school

"I wonder how everypony is holding up..." Rainbow Dash sighed

"Loosen up Rainbow, Ah'm sure they're fine." Applejack said nudging her rainbow haired friend

"How can you just say that!" Rainbow spat

"Ah'm just trying to help out 'ere!" Applejack began to raise her voice

"Girls..." A quiet voice started

"Well, guess what? YOU'RE NOT!" Rainbow screamed drawing some unwanted attention

"Girls." The voice repeated

"Ya never appreciate anythin' Ah do! Or anybody else fir that matter!" Applejack yelled

"Girls!" The soft and quiet voice started to rise

"Thats not TRUE!" Rainbow screeched

"IS TOO!" Applejack said as she stood up

"IS NOT!" Rainbow Dash said standing up getting closer to Applejack

"IS T-" Applejack was cut off by-

"GIRLS!!" Fluttershy screamed louder than any of the two bickering girls

"You aren't going to get anywhere like this! I want you both to apologize to each other, now!" Fluttershy said when an unexpected voice came from behind her

"You having some trouble here with these two Fluttershy?" A girl with mint green skin and spiky yellow and orange hair asked

"W-what?" The timid girl turned around as Rainbow Dash eyed the girl carefully

"Oh h-hi Lightning D-dust...!" Fluttershy said with a worried expression on her face

"HI THERE! IM PINKIE PIE!" Pinkie Pie said jumping in front of Fluttershy eager to shake Lightning Dusts hand

"Uh... yeah cool nice to meet you too..." Lightning Dust said slowly walking away from the two pink haired girls

"Great, she's a thing here too..." Rainbow Dash grumbled as Applejack remembered the situation in which she almost fell to the ground because of this Lightning Dust... 

"Cya later Rainbow Crash." Lightning Dust whispered into Rainbow Dashes ear as a chill crawled down Rainbows spine

"Rainbow? Ya okay there?" Applejack tapped Rainbows shoulder as she snapped back into reality
