Ruel is now 21 and y/n is 20

Y/N's POV:

"I wanna go public." Ruel chirped up breaking the silence in his family's living room,

"What?" I question,

"y/n we've been together for almost 4 years.." Ruel sighed,

we never told any fans about our relationship and it made me surprised about how long we've been together for. Of course a lot of fans speculated that we were together but still we gave no hints. No paparazzi ever saw anything,

"Do it." I say,

"Woah okay." We both giggled,

"How are we gonna do this?" I asked,

"I'll just download Twitter again and just say something." He said.

I smiled up at Ruel who was sitting across the room as my phone exploded with notifications,

"Uh" my eyes widen,

Ruel chuckles and sits next to me giving me a big bear hug,

"Let's go to the beach, hey?" He asks,

"Hell yea" 

TIME SKIP

Ruel pushes me in the water,

"Hey!!" I push him back as we start fighting.

I tackle him down but he some how flips me over.

He picks me up and I wrap my legs around him, 

staring into eachother's eyes,

not an awkward silence.

I could get lost in his eyes so easily,

I sneakily push him over as we make our way back to the deserted shore.

I fiddled with my promise ring that is hanging on a chain around my neck,

I sit infront of Ruel as his arms snaked around me,

holding me close,

we sit in a peaceful silence watching the sun set,

just sitting there,

just sitting there
