𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑 ❥

Y/N's POV: 

I hold Ruel's hand as we board the plane.

Luckily, Ruel was able to make changes so I was able to sit next to him.

Ruel put our bags in the overhead locker and sat down next to me,

Each row had 6 seats meaning that there were just 2 seats placed next to each other from the left to the right. 

He gave me a kiss on my cheek as the plane started to speed off the runway and before you know it we were asleep until 20 minutes until landing. 

"Hello everyone, we are about to land in JFK Airport in less than 20 minutes. I'd like to ask for everyone to put their tray tables away and restore your seat to an upright position. Please make sure you give any rubbish, blankets or pillows to our cabin crew and make sure not to leave anything on this aircraft. As always we'd like to thank you for flying with Air France and will hope to be seeing you again, Thank you." 

After hearing the announcement I look to my left to see Ruel fast asleep with his back leaning on my side,

"Ruel, we're about to land." I softly whisper to him as I rub his shoulder, Ruel slightly opens his eyes and sits up slowly giving me a small smile as he grabs his bag from under the seat in front of us.

TIME SKIP

We made it to the hotel in the CBD and flopped on our king bed. We were jet lagged as hell and fell asleep quickly to wake up to Nate knocking on our door.

As Nate used his card and walked into us cuddling,

"Rise and shine you two," Nate says as he smiles at both of us, Nate didn't know we were dating until he saw us holding hands at the airport. Actually, not that many people knew we were together and I had yet to meet all of the crew including Ruel's mum who came along.

Ruel and I sit up and rest on the headboard as Nate comes and sits down on a chair,

"I need to talk to you guys about your relationship," He says, "I'm sorry to say this but you two will need to keep this private.. Is that okay?",

Fuck, of course this had to happen.. I nod my head in agreement and smile at him,

"That means no telling any fans and no flirting in public okay?" It was obvious Nate didn't want to tell us this but we both understood.  

"Alright I'll let you two get ready" He says as he walks out of the hotel.

TIME SKIP

"I'd like you to meet my mum, y/n" Ruel says while intertwining his hand with mine, we are at Ruel's first performance at some theatre. Ruel leads me into a room where a woman was sitting at a couch scrolling through her phone. She looked so sweet and accepting I didn't feel so nervous anymore,

"Mum, I'd like you to meet someone" Ruel said as he rested his hand on my lower back,

"Hello! I'm Kate, it's so lovely to meet you!" She says as she stands up to give me a hug, 

"So what is your name?" She asks me giving me a sweet smile,

"y/n, it's so great to finally meet you!" I smile back as Ruel watches us from afar with a huge grin on his face,

"Such a lovely name! I've heard a lot about you!" She says, "Ruel has talking about you a lot" She laughs, I laugh too as Ruel's face goes red and gives his mum and glare that turns into a smile,

"Ruel soundcheck" Nate walks into the room as Ruel comes up to me and gives me a hug and his mum a kiss on the cheek. 

Kate invites me to sit with her as she asks questions about what I do,

"So are you doing anything job wise?" She asks,

"Yeah actually, I'm an actress" I reply,

"Wow, I'm guessing you're pretty good at it?"

"Well personally I don't think I am but a lot of people say I do pretty well, so I'm not really sure" 

Kate asks me about how Ruel and I met and just talking about Ruel in general.

"I think the shows starting in a bit, do you want to go watch him?" Kate asks,

"Yea!" I reply as we get up and walk to the stage.

We see Ruel wearing a singlet with black sweatpants as he sits with some of the crew, he notices me and gives me a smile. He comes up to me and gives me a huge hug while all the fans flood in chanting his name. 

"Well I'm about to go on." He says,

"Break a leg Ruel, you'll do great" I reply giving him a kiss on the cheek. Ruel squeezes my hand and runs on to the stage as screams start erupting. 

One song left until the end of the show

As Ruel starts singing another song being energised by the screaming and singing of his fans he looks over to me and gives me a huge smile making me blush, he then starts singing Down For You as Kate nudges me,

"You know he wrote this song about you right?" She whispers as my cheeks turn into a dark shade of red,

"Really?" 

"Mhm, he says that it's about how he stays up every night looking at your instagram and how he gets jealous about other guys wanting you for your beauty while he wants you for your personality and beauty." She smiles as my eyes get glossy,

He wrote a song,

For me,

I listen to the lyrics as a tear slides down my cheek. 

Kate gives me a hug,

"I wouldn't be surprised if you two ended up marrying one day" She says, as I giggle.

"Wouldn't be surprised at all"
