Part Twenty Four - The Phonecall

Nathan's pov

I answered the phone and started walking down the stairs

Nathan - Hello??

Tessa - Hello Nathan, we haven't spoken in a while have we?

Nathan - What do you want Tessa?

Tessa - We both know the answer to that Nathan don't we.

I start racking my brains trying to think what it could be... we've never really spoken so I know she deffinatley wouldn't of told me what she wants.

Nathan - I have no idea what you are talking about Tessa.

Tessa - You Nathan. I want you.

I go silent. Amy told me she always liked me and hated Ames for being my partner then for becoming my girlfriend. How do I reply to something like this?

Nathan - I'm with Amy, Tessa. And I'm very happy with her.

Tessa - Not for long. I will text you your instructions. Don't worry babe it won't be long until we're together...

The phone cuts off. What is that girl on? Should I really be scared of her? I stay sat down for a minute before going back up the stairs. My head is pounding going through everything she could possibly do to me. What if she does something to Amy? I couldn't deal with that. She wouldn't do something like that though. Would she?

I walk back up the stairs and stand in the doorway to the nursery. I see them all laughing and dancing while painting the room. Amy's long blonde ponytail swishes from side to side and she has the biggest smile on her face. Lauren with her bump dances slower with her hands placed on her stomach. Her motherly traits are already showing through. Jays curls are stuck up in completely different directions and he twirling Amy and Lauren around. Amy spots me in the doorway and says

Amy - Come on Sykes! We have work to do.

I chuckle at her and say

Me - Yeah I can see that with all that dancing.

Jay - Oh you thought she meant painting the room. No she meant dancing with us.

They both come up to me grabbing one hand each and pulling me into the middle of the room. I put my phone on the table in a attempt to forget about the disturbing phone call I have just had. Lauren turns the music up louder and the sound of Taylor Swift fills the room. Amy start singing along.

The village is aglow
