Part Nine - Putting the plan into action

Today's the day when we are putting the plan into action. I found out that the rest of the boys know that Lauren likes Jay and that Bird likes her back. All of the boys are in on the plan the rest of us are going to go to the football which Lauren,Jay and Seev don't like but Siva's going to say he's going out shopping for Nareesha. Leaving Lauren and bird alone together and hopefully that will work and they'll get together after. I wake up early and go into the bathroom of the bus and start getting ready. The Premier league are on the annual tour of America and City are playing in New York against Chelsea I think. I put some natural make up on fishtail my hair and then put my City shirt on and some leggings and my black boots. I walk out of the bathroom to find Nathan and the rest of the boys waiting for me ready. I sit down next to him and kiss his cheek and looks down and smile at me. He leans down and whispers in my ear

Nathan - you look beautiful babe just gotta change that top to a red one.

He winks at me and gives me a peck on my lips and I give him a jab in the side. I see Max giving us an awkward look and he goes

Max - I said I'm fine with you dating but that does not mean you can kiss in front of me!

I stick out my tongue at Max. Jay walks in and we put the plan into action. We walk look at each other waiting for someone to say something in the end I decide to talk.

Me - right boys you ready to go to the football.

Jay - oh I didn't know we were going to the football.

He looks down at his pj bottoms.

Tom - oh we didn't get you, Seev or Lauren a ticket because you don't like the football mate.

Jay looks over at Lauren and Siva

Siva - fine by me I want to go shopping for a present for Nunu.

Jay - Lauren?

Lauren - I'm fine with it I just want to lounge around the bus today anyway.

Jay – ok that's fine then see you  in a bit then boys 

I give him a quick glance and he goes

Jay – and girls

Then winks

Me – yeah don't forget about your bestie Bird

Jay – I'll try not to

We all laugh and walk out the bus. I really hope this plan works.

Lauren's pov

The rest of them had just left for the football leaving me Jay and Siva on the bus. Siva gets up and puts his coat on.

Siva – right I'm off see you in a bit guys

Me- bye

Jay – see you later

Jay comes and sits next to me and goes

Jay – so what are we gonna do today?

Lauren – umm dunno why don't we watch some films.

Maybe if we watch a rom-com it might moves things along. I walk over to the DVD section next to the TV and see all the films. I glance over all of them until I see a film that will do just the trick plus it's one of my favourite films. I slide it out and turn to Jay.

Me – Titanic!

Jay – Yeah go on then. I didn't know we had that film.

Me – well we obviously do

I chuckle

Me – must be Amy's it's one of mine and hers favourite films.

I put it in and turn round to find the remote which is nowhere to be seen.

Me – Jay where's the remote?

Jay gets up and we start running around the bus trying to find the remote which turns out to be on Max's bunk which is just weird. We go sit down on the sofa and put the film on. It's about half way through the film before either one of us say anything.

Jay  - it's getting a bit cold do you want me to grab a blanket?

Me – Yeah go on then

He goes and gets a blanket and comes back and out and puts it over both of us and puts his arm around me. We carry on watching the film until we get to the part where Kate and Leo are snogging on the front of the boat. Jay grabs the remote and he pauses it and turns round and looks at me.

Jay – Lauren I've been wanting to tell you this for a while. I really like you do you maybe want to go out sometime?

He looks down a his hands and start twiddling his thumbs and I can see his cheeks turning a light shade of red.

Me – Of course I do

Jay he hugs me and then looks me in the eyes and moves his lips closer to mine until they are touching and closes his eyes. When he moves away he goes

Jay -  I've been wanting to do that for a while to.

He winks and I thank Amy in my head. Her plan worked!

A/N  - so hey guys I haven't uploaded in ages but I've been really busy. I hope you had an Amazing Christmas and an Amazing New year. We are so close to my goal of 1000 reads by new year.
