" Let's go!"

I rolled off my bed where I was efficiently stalling. To say I was nervous for today was an understatement. Being the center of attention was fun when you're goofing off with your friends, but not when everyone's talking about you.

I slipped on my blue vans to match my cardigan and jeans before tromping downstairs to the kitchen where sat an awaiting Caleb and Andrew.

" I made you toast, since you came down late"  Caleb smiled, I couldn't help but forget everything else when he smiled like that. I stepped forward and gave him a thank you peck on the lips, much to my brothers dismay.

" No! Gross! Nada on the PDA alright! Dear God... " he mumbled as he walked out to the car.

Caleb chuckled and pulled me into his arms, locking them securely around me.  

" well then I better make this one count"  he grinned before leaning in in giving me a kiss that would leave any girl breathless. Thankfully I got to be that girl, his girl.

I added in my mind happily.

Caleb went to pull away, but not before I attacked his face with my lips, planting kisses on every part of his face. Resulting in him laughing and swatting me away playfully. " come on Little Miss Sunshine, we gotta get going if we don't want to be late." he smiled brilliantly at me.

But just those words the doubt settle back into me like a hot fire, making my insides churn and brew anxiously. Thankfully Caleb had already turned and walked out the door, because I was pretty sure my face was anything but happy.

It wasn't until we stepped into the hallway that Caleb slung his arm around my shoulder, smiling excitedly, that the whispers started.

I could see everything from people pointing and whispering to the obvious "why's he with her?", "I thought they were like related or something? ".

I hung my head a little lower, attempting to block it out, which didn't go unnoticed by Caleb.  "Hey," he said while putting a finger under my chin, lifting my head, "ignore it, it's just a shock to people. "

He smiled reassuringly and I couldn't help but believe him.

"Good, now get to class mouse" with that he placed a chaste kiss on my cheek and walked away, leaving me in front of my class.

I was about to step in before I was violently yanked to the side by none other than Gwen with Jude trailing behind her.

"Giiirrrrlll look who's gettin some!" she said excitedly. I couldn't help but laugh.

"So you finally got him nailed down huh?" Jude winked.

"Whatever you weirdos I'm going to class"

classes thankfully went by like normal, despite the few questions of was i really dating the Caleb? Which I quickly answered yes to, effectively shutting down any other questions.

It wasn't until the two days later that everything caught up with me.
